A little disappointed I saw the new menu on Facebook it looked good. Very little atmosphere unless you are a golfer. The place looked very tired inside and out. They didn't get the order right but the mussels were tasty. way too many fries which was bit off putting. The club sandwich was soggy as was the bacon.

Rather disappointed. The room was small, but the shower room was large. No shelves in the shower room. No bed side lights, the bed bases were grubby, and some debris from the previous occupants had not been vacuumed. The chest of drawers was on a slant, resulting in the drawers not closing properly. Good size TV, but unable to tune into terrestrial channels. Won't be going back

Welcomed by woman at reception who asked us why everyone is up so early. Our tee time was 7.40!. She said she had lots of work to be getting on with and it seemed a problem that we asked for her to do anything. After she got us coffe and scorecards reluctantly, we went to putting green it was worst I have seen I'm 48 and been playing since I was 14!

All greens the same, course lovely but 35 for greens worse than any I've EVER played on . Service in bar afterwards also poor no one for ages then after member went out back 5 came including previously Miss busy! won't be back anytime soon!

About 20 of us stayed on Friday eve, the night before my sons wedding, what an amazing place, staff are fab the rooms were amazing, couldn't of asked for a nicer place to stay. I think her name was Gina? Possibly the manager she was so lovely and accommodating, will definitely stay there again, thank you so much, and my son had the most amazing wedding day

Had a weekend here last year as part of a society and the service was great and course excellent. Returned yesterday just for the day and the course was in poor condition. The greens were especially poor and extremely difficult to putt on.

Six of us had lunch on Easter Sunday. It was very good. food and service great. It's a golf club but the restaurant is very spacious and relaxed. Well run outfit and I would recommend it to anyone.

Room 2 over looking the golf course amazing. Attention to detail would be a good thing. House keeping not at its best. Dusty and cobwebs. Light bulbs not working. Fab bathroom and comfy bed. Shame no bottles of water in the room. Biscuits with the tea etc. Finishing touches would be a good thing, as a lovely spacious room. Friendly staff nothing too much trouble.

They are a credit to your team. Eg. We asked for a ironing board and a heater as room was cold. Food excellent value for money and very scrumptious. Beautiful grounds would come back again if in area. Its absolutely amazing here a beautiful Manor House. Overall we enjoyed our stay and served its purpose. Thankyou.

My friend and I came here for a ladies get away, we don't play golfjust wanted a guiet place to relax for a few days. Having read other reviews we were a little sceptical, but as soon as we arrived the staff and club members were so friendly. The staff were so helpful, nothing was too much trouble, and I mean nothing was too much trouble, and oh, so friendly.

The hotel wraps round you like a warm cosy blanket. Yes, it's going through renovation, but this did not intrude on our time there, and can only improve the hotel even more. Iwould love to return here
