Had a party here for my sister's 40th. Everything went well. Spent the night, room isn't so good. AC was super loud, it even kind of scared my kids. The worst part about this experience was the next morning we woke up to our car missing all 4 wheels and tires. To top it off our car were put on wood logs so it damaged the bottom of our car.
We called the hotel manager and they said it has never happened before in the 26 years she was there and that they have securities that drives around all night. Which is BS. They pointed at the sign showing they are not liable for any damage and anything stolen. They walked away. This was a Sunday, so most places were closed. Finally found a place that has wheels and tires that would fit for $900 and found a different place to install them for $195.
We were there all day outside until it got dark. Had to have my oldest kid pick up my little ones to take them home. Manager never offered to extend our stay while we wait. No offer of water while we wait outside in the heat. I don't recommend this place at all. If you do, Uber or take a Lyft. Do not leave your car. It was such a horrible experience. It even scared my kids to see our car that way.

I would give it 0 stars, but that is not an option. They initially assigned me to a room that felt like a motel, hot, dingey, and felt like some prostitute used the room. Then, I complained, and I got upgraded to a higher floor. Slightly better, but still had problems. The shower has this dirty ring around the drain. For some reason, the bathtub is covered by a mat. Is it covered, because of stains that they couldn't get out? Regardless, I didn't dare shower in it. Looks disgusting. Also, I brought a large Costco pizza with me.
They assigned me to a crappy room first. An employee made me set me pizza at the lobby table. Then, a kid comes along, and sneezes. My box was slightly open. I was super sad that I lost my large pizza. It was a very good pizza. Overall, I think I was ripped off, and lied to. I was highly dissatisfied, and couldn't sleep all night, because I couldn't shower. Freeway noise was pretty bad. I would not stay here again, for the lack of service, and lack of accomodations. This is a hotel nightmare.

Clean, quiet and relaxed hotel. Has all kinds of amenities like bar, restaurant, swimming pool, outdoor patio, conference rooms, fitness center, laundry room, gift shop, shuttle bus, car rental and so on. Rooms are spacious and equipped with flat screen TV, refrigerator, coffee maker, sofa set, leather office chair, study desk, flat iron, ironing board, hair dryer and luggage rack. Only downsides are the $50 room depot required at check in and also No microwave in the room!

Our rooms weren't ready for over an hour after we showed up. We didn't show up early either. We arrived around 4:30 and it took the hotel staff an additional hour and 15 minutes to get the room ready. We were offered a free breakfast, which was very kind of the hotel. The next morning we went to enjoy breakfast. It took them 20 minutes just to seat us.
The restaurant wasn't busy either, there were four tables, including us. The manager took our coupons, brought us coffee and orange juice and we never saw our server again. We waited an additional 30 minutes attempting to get the attention of the wait staff with no luck. We left and had to get breakfast elsewhere. The staff seem friendly, but the hotel needs some improvements. I would not recommend dining in their hotel restaurant.

I previously stayed here a few times and was very happy but unfortunately I cannot say this now. My family booked a room for two nights for our summer vacation trip we've been planning for along time. We arrived real late in the evening, very tired from Disneyland. After getting settled, I noticed something really nasty on the shower hand rail and also hairs.
I was so grossed out I called the front desk to tell them, they offered me another room downstairs. it was around midnight so we packed up and hauled our stuff to the new room which was somewhat cleaner, but still not what I expected. I found more hairs and the carpets looked very dirty. the room didn't seem that sanitary, I wanted to leave. honestly it ruined our trip. I will not stay here again.

Booked this hotel since it was close to Knottsberry & Disneyland. It's 1 mile from Knotts and about 15 minutes from Disney. The hotel was nice, clean but a little ran down. They were under construction while we were there which means maybe they are going making improvements on the appearance. Overall, nothing spectacular but a good hotel. Didn't get any warm and fuzzy vibes from any staff but we kept to ourselves mostly. We'd stay here again since it was reasonably priced and close to the attractions we went to.

PROS: Location -- We stayed at this place because it's also close to Disneyland and way more affordable than surrounding Disney hotels. Although it isn't a walking distance, it's about a 10 minute drive, 15 if you are experiencing traffic. It's also near to many food places including the Porto's Buena Park location. Food there is so yummy and it's about a 4 min drive. It's also about 30 ish minutes from Long Beach and Laguna. Affordable -- Very affordable compared to similar hotels in the area and extended Anaheim area.
If you are looking for a more affordable but close option to Disnyeland this is a good choice. I believe they have a shuttle that takes you to and from the park but we chose to drive. Bedding -- Comfortable beds and comfy pillows. Water pressure -- toilet, sink, and shower has good pressure. Parking -- free! CONS: Noise -- We were placed in the second building, second floor, in a room facing the pool.
The room let's all the noise in so you can hear people splashing around, yelling, and slamming the pool gate every time they enter or leave. Now, this is to be expected during the day but the hotel staff doesn't kick people out the pool at close (10pm) so people continue to use it even after it's supposed to be closed for the night.
If you're a light sleeper or were hoping for quiet time after hours, this may be a problem. Noise -- Like many hotels the walls are paper thin and you can head your neighbors. I realized that our wing of the hall said "quiet zone" but it was not a quiet hall at all. We were placed next to a room full of kids (never heard an adult voice so I'm guessing they booked a room just for the kids and the parents were in another room).
The kids fought constantly and would lock each other out the room causing them to bang on the door several times a day and yell for a extended periods of time. This was at night so you can imagine how inconvenient this would be if you're trying to sleep. Cleanliness -- Room appeared to be clean but on our last day there we noticed a dead cockroach in the bathroom.
It was upsetting but glad I noticed on the last otherwise I wouldn't have been able to sleep in peace. It does make me wonder if they have a roach issue or if it's an isolated incident. Due to COVID, there is no everyday housekeeping service and there are signs at check-in that say it will only be provided every 5 days. We were here for 4 nights and it wasn't an issue for us but if you like your room being cleaned everyday it may be an issue for you. Garbage cans do fill up and toilet paper does run out so we just brought a few rolls of toilet paper and a few garbage bags we already had on hand.
Bathroom -- Bathroom has no fan and the bathroom vanity is very small. Not a huge issue, just something to note. Amenities -- There is a fridge but no microwave so we were unable to heat leftovers. Also there is no security lock box! Breakfast -- no free continental breakfast but we knew that going in. Just something to note for other people who may consider this place.
Overall three stars because it's located in a really convenient area and affordable but there is definitely room for improvement. I realize that noise levels can't always be controlled though.

Front desk staff not helpful. Did not clean room or ask to clean room in 3 days. Had to ask for towels and wait hours to get them. Lounge says closes at 11pm daily. Did not see it open once. I did ask and they stated it closed at 8 pm. I asked for the complimentary ear buds, I was told the cleaning personnel are new and they don't know where they are at. Trash can out front was always overly full, should have gotten pictures. Not a pleasant stay.

SO many things wrong with this hotel. & I have never experienced anything like this. My family booked two rooms for five nights, months ahead of time just to arrive at the hotel after traveling to nothing but problems. Somehow, the rooms (Porch/Poolside Rooms) that we reserved MONTHS ahead of time were "not available". After an hour, the young lady at the front desk somehow had two rooms in the same style that we already ORIGINALLY requested 'became' available.
There was no hot water in Room 129. They supposedly had no towels when we requested more. The "security guard" employed by this hotel named Maria made my family feel more uncomfortable than safe on multiple occasions. Maria was seen walking by our rooms on the patio side looking into our rooms through our sliding door, when we went outside to confront her about it she TRIED to flip the script on us.
Instead of being respectful of our privacy in the rooms that WE paid for, she made it her job during our stay to harass my family and make us feel very unwelcome. We became so uncomfortable with this security guard that we started to record our interactions with her for our protection. We have multiple videos of this security guard following my family around in the parking lot. Videos of her making up stories about us.
She made claims that were false. She claimed we were there causing problems a whole night before we ever checked in. We were not even in the sate of California when she claimed we were there causing problems. We have her on recording during another altercation that happened, come to find out she told her management something totally different. It is none of the employees or managements business what we do privately.
We were doing nothing illegal, or anything against the hotel's policies. They had no reason to do the things they were doing. We told "management" multiple times about their lovely security guard and how she made their guest feel VERY uncomfortable. Nobody should feel like they have to look over their shoulder too see if a "security guard" is watching your every move.
First of all, Its creepy. She made comments to us stating she had been watching us on the cameras when she had no reason to, we weren't doing ANYTHING illegal or against their hotel policies. Every-time this lady approached any one of us, it was just to harass us about SOMETHING. Harassment is the unwelcome and sometimes unlawful conduct that demeans, insults, and offends a person.
A security guard is a person employed by a private party to PROTECT the employing party's assets property, PEOPLE, equipment, money, etc. Maria crossed the line and management did nothing Nothing to make us feel better about the situation, and nothing about the actions of their employees because it continued for three nights. After three days, it felt like management and employees were just trying to chase us out of there. Would not recommend this stay. Unless you're ready for corrupt management. Over-stepping security guards. Mistreatment. Horrible Service.

Stayed at Holiday Inn Buena Park the past weekend on my trip to Los Angeles. I was surprised to see that the rooms did not have automatic thermostat, you will need to manually turn on/off the heater/AC. The temperature control doesn't really seem to be working, it was only putting out hot air so we constantly needed to turn the heater on and off, there was no "warm" air.
The parking is quite difficult if you're returning past 9:00 PM, usually all the parking lot spots are full and you'll need to park behind the building. There was some delivery trucks parked the past weekend which literally took about 10 car spaces. I like that they had a 24-hour laundromat you can use. Last few tips, if you call the front desk, they will send a plumber to fix the clogged tub and make sure you take minute showers because they are still yet to have bathroom fans/ventilator. just simple hot air vents.

Hubby and I just spent 3 nights here and enjoyed our time here. We love that the restaurant is open all day because that helped with our schedule! Last night we enjoyed having a drink at the bar after dinner and actually brainstormed in a new concept for his job! We also liked that there were places to walk too or short drives too! We will be back down in this area next month and will definitely book a room again!

Eh. Parking right at the front is a bit limited (come check-in time in the early evening many cars were congregated at the check-in drop-off loop, though granted it was a weekend); most of the time open parking spots were available only at the back. Every time I entered the hotel room I smelled a musk that wasn't pleasant. Wanted something from the third-floor drink vending machine but it was not operational.
My sister used the provided Keurig to boil water; the boiled water ended up being brown (aka who knows when the last time the Keurig machine was cleaned). Hotel is literally right next to the freeway; might need earplugs if your room is facing the freeway as even past midnight I could hear the rushing of cars.

Stayed her twice and both experiences were great. Love how it's close to everything and it's at a great location! Conveniently located by stores, restaurants and off the freeway. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. We got a standard room with 2 queen beds and we were comfortable. I would give them a 5 overall but the only thing missing in the room is a microwave. We had a mini-fridge though. The pool is heated all year long, which is a plus!

Hosted my wedding here and it could not have been any better. My wife and I need to thank Nanette, Jessica C. and Macario for all of their excellent help and support. We visited about 15 different venues but chose this place due to the central location to our relatives and also felt it offered the best value for money paid. Our meetings with Nanette and Jessica C. were organized and detailed.
The day of the event, Macario (F&B Manager) made sure everything ran smoothly. They have a cocktail reception area that worked perfect for our guests of about 130ppl, and the ballroom was a nice, intimate atmosphere. The suite we stayed in was spacious and clean. Thank you to Holiday Inn and to all of their staff, especially the 3 names mentioned above, for their excellent work. We are grateful.

Stayed at this hotel this weekend to attend a wedding in nearby La Mirada & Artesia areas. We picked this hotel and location due to its proximity to Knott's Berry Farm and other attractions in the area. We were planning to hit some of the nearby attractions while we were in the area for the weekend. We loved our stay and would definitely book another stay here in the future.
We got a 2-Queen Bed Room with a private patio by the pool. We loved our room and the convenience of having a quick and easy access to the pool area where there's also a nearby gazebo and seating for relaxing or reading a book. We were able to enjoy the patio to sit down and read or just hangout and talk while the kids were in the pool. Also enjoyed our snacks and desserts from nearby Porto's and our room service meal in our private patio.
Only thing we miss at this Holiday Inn location is the free breakfast. Not too much of a big deal since the restaurant does offer Kids Eat Free all day, everyday for dine in guests. Kids eat free is not available for room service. Still not a big deal for us. Breakfast menu has a pretty good selection, portions aren't too bad and prices are also very reasonable.
Our dine-in breakfast one day for 4 was about $40 (about $47 with tip). And our room service bill for breakfast another day was about $60 (includes 18% gratuity and $2 delivery charge). And yeah, we did order a little more with room service so the bill was still pretty reasonable for 4 persons. Staff was always helpful and friendly. Gym facility is adequate.
This hotel was hoppin during the weekend of our stay. A lot of conferences & special events happening. But parking was never a big issue during our stay. even when we came back late in the evening from the wedding we still found a convenient parking spot.
