Very impressed. I was treating my daughters to a couple of days away. Time to relax. The staff were friendly and very helpful, sadly I had to be pushed around in a wheel chair, but we were told the best way to go and ramps were produced when needed. The food was delicious and we most certainly enjoyed the wine! A very impressive selection. I was given the best gluten free rolls I have ever had and they were, quite obviously, home made.
The toast at breakfast was very good too and arrived before my meal! I cannot tell you how many times I have been given my toast after I had finished my breakfast. Not quite the same! The Spa treatments were wonderful and, yet again, the staff very friendly, considerate and helpful. We had a brilliant time. Loved the peacocks! Definitely will be going again and would have no hesitation recommending Pendley Manor to my family and friends.

The facilities were very clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful in shifting our lunch time due to us arriving later than expected due to unforeseen circumstances. The treatments delivered by the Spa staff were amazing and really relaxing and the waiters were attentive during our lunch, prosecco and cakes. The staff at Pendley Manor couldn't do enough for us and we had the best day ever. Thank you Pendley

Attended a birthday party and had an overnight stay. Really lovely place. We were given a wonderful room, that was ultra clean and tastefully furnished and with comfortable beds and pillows. Lovely decor throughout the hotel. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Good buffet breakfast with plenty to choose. Fabulous gardens with charming peacocks roaming around. I didn't try the pool or spa, but I'm sure that they would have been top quality.

Attended for a wedding. The grounds looked nice. Front of house staff were lovely. Lots of outdoor seating. Unfortunately the bar had run out of cider, diet drink options and wine early in the evening. Some of the bar staff were not entirely helpful and were also serving cola after spilling much of the contents of the bottles (all bottles, no draught options). Service wasn't great. Some of the plates were sticky. Buffet options were not getting refilled. Family who booked rooms had nice rooms.

The ladies at the front desk were helpful and accommodating. Unfortunately the service was subpar. On arrival, I had lunch at the Shakespeare bar and waited almost 20 minutes for a salad which arrived with no cutlery so I had to wait a further few minutes to eat. I later had dinner in the Oak Room which only had one family of 3 seated when I arrived and it remained that way for about 20-25 minutes.
The waitress (who also did not offer me a drink menu) sat me at the worst table right next to the service station where staff frequented often. I asked a different waiter if I could move to the many other available tables as there was also a draft and he said you can just sit on the opposite seat which made me very uncomfortable. I was also told on arrival at the front desk that breakfast was served until 10:30am so I arrived around 9:45-50am when they were packing up and was told by waiting staff that breakfast finished at 9:30am.
They were accompanying given the miscommunication and did bring me a full English breakfast. Unfortunately it was the end of service leftovers which was not appetising and I couldn't eat it. The hotel room was nice minus the doors slamming which are hard to close softly. I liked the decor and the champagne and chocolates were a nice touch. That being said, I wouldn't go to Pendley Manor again given my experience.

Booked an afternoon tea at Pendley Manor this afternoon to celebrate 2 birthdays, the service and food were absolutely awful. We had an incredibly long wait for our food and tea, staff kept forgetting our order and not bringing the correct items. The sandwiches were stale, the desserts were tasteless and soggy and each afternoon tea serving had different quantities of food per tray.
I called Pendley Manor prior to our visit to let them know dietary restrictions to ensure the correct food was prepared (vegan, gluten free, vegetarian etc) which clearly had been forgotten and not taken into account. The vegetarian afternoon tea option had completely different sandwiches to what was on the menu and what we were offered were awful and bland.
We complained a number of times to staff and on two occasions had to go back to reception to find anyone as there were no waiters or waitresses around to help with anything. None of the staff even apologised for the terrible experience and didn't seem bothered at all. We ended up leaving over 3 hours later very disappointed. The bill took so long to come we ended up getting ready to leave and paying on our way out - we asked for a 50% bill reduction due to how awful the meal was which they didn't bother honouring and only discounted part of the meal, however we were so frustrated we paid and left.
The only saving grace was a lovely bar man who offered us a cocktail on the house each (which we could only accept one of as we were all driving, and 3 bottles of red wine). Overall a terrible experience and would not recommend this place at all, it completely ruined our celebrations and the attitude of the staff made it even worse.

Exceeded our expectations! Beautifully maintained building, both inside and out. Grounds were shared with at least 20 beautiful peacocks Facilities are excellent - including swimming pool/sauna/gym/restaurant and bar. Staff were friendly and helpful. Bedrooms are spacious with extremely comfortable beds. Highly recommend and looking forward to a returned visit.

We had a lovely visit here. The guest rooms are spacious and luxurious, modernized with lots of character. The entire building is rich in history. Fun wallpaper throughout (even in the elevator.!) Breakfast in a gorgeous dining room was included in our room but reasonably priced otherwise. It was a traditional English breakfast with both hot and cold selections.
The staff were wonderful - warm and friendly. The facilities here were also great: a pool, spa, gardens, and special events. We didn't participate in these but would plan to if we come back.

I needed a quick getaway and found this place online. The hotel looks magnificent on the outside but I found the internal decor inconsistent. The style through put the manor kind of changes when you walk in certain areas. I understand that there was some construction/modernizing happening but it just didn't make sense. I ordered room service servers times and the attendant pups the find my room!
On top of this, my food was cold, yet was still expected to pay for it. There wasn't one meal that I had there that was mildly memorable. The staff were friendly yet very slow. There was one point where I ordered room service and the the attendant told me hold on because he was busy working in the restaurant. There is clearly an infrastructure problem in this hotel.
