Elizabeth House Hotel

English style hotel, close to the center, park, opposite the hotel is bar, shop. Friendly staff, helpful. Cleanliness in the hotel comes first. Large rooms with beautiful street views. Breakfast is a monotonous English, maybe it would be better if it was self-service. Sometimes there is a little problem with the parking space. We'll come again.

Very Clean room, nice bed (most important thing) and quiet by night. I will be back. But Breakfast is not that good, poor coffee, peach slices from tin and toasted is just a slice of bread, not toasted at all.

This is literally the best hotel ever! They're so sweet, kind and accommodating. We stayed there over the weekend to celebrate my daughters birthday, and it was absolutely magical! We ventured off to Peppa World and came back and relaxed at the bar and had cake with the staff. They're officially family . The perfect home away from home. We will be visiting very soon

What a terrible trip! The facilities and environment are poor. I was woken up in the morning by the sound of the decoration, really devastated! The hotel manager's service attitude is very irritating. The smell of the room is very pungent and I suspect it is very harmful to the human body! The manager has been refusing to communicate directly with us and feels unfriendly to Asians. In addition, the parking area is a mess! It was parked all night and covered with leaves and bird droppings. We even paid extra for a car wash!

Nice, clean rooms at this hotel which is on one of the main routes in & out of Southampton, so easy access via the bus or cycle routes, and only a 10-15 minutes walk to the bars & restaurants area. Staff were efficient & polite, fast check in & a nice basic room. Bonus was free onsite parking

Elizabeth House Hotel I can't even describe what happened to us in this hotel that day First of all, this is my first time studying in the UK in a service of the hotel hotel feel so strong racial discrimination Due to our room smell of paint is too heavy for us to discuss with the manager wants to change a room In all our can be said to have a room available for reservation website tells us that under the condition of change isn't there room in the hotel for us Secondly, when we couldn't open the door, we insisted that we deliberately put something in the lock and threatened us with the police to make us pay for changing the lock.

When we complained to the boss about the matter, we even sent messages to attack our life. There could be no worse experience than this The hotel was very antiquated in the sense that it was completely out of date and it was very cold to sleep at night and we slept in our coats in April

3rd time we've been here now. Every time the room has been clean, warm, comfortable and good value for money. Reception staff have always been polite and really helpful too.

Good points, nice staff particularly the lady at breakfast the rooms are ok. Bad points, Let's start with the car park, maybe the hotel should be focused on parking its guests, more than parking the cars of people on cruises. The internet's not up to standard. The noise from the street and road are no good for a light sleeper like me (not sure what they can do about that to be fair) Free tea and coffee/toiletries, if no one is servicing the room daily it would be an idea to give a little more supplies, last thing you want to do is to be going begging to reception for more supplies.

Nice hotel, needs a little modernising in areas, but overall clean and tidy, beds are comfortable enough, I would say slightly overpriced for the stay, breakfast was nice. Real issue I had was the lights coming through my room had alot of lights shining on it and had a restless night due to this.

Can not recommend this place enough, there needs to be a 10 star option. The staff can not do enough for you and the rooms are great. We had the newly renovated rooms which are spacious and have all the facilities that you need, I suppose you get what you pay for and these rooms are definitely worth the money. We could not fault the breakfast every morning and we also eat on the evenings and the food was fantastic. If your looking for somewhere to stay in Southampton then this is the place with its great location.
