Holiday Inn Express Southampton M27 Jct7

We stayed 2 days on the 2nd Floor. The room was clean and fresh. The Hotel placed in a calm and peaceful environment. But quite far from Peppa pig Paulson's park. Yea. We booked the hotel to visit Paulson's park. Comparing other hotels close to Paulson's park is very expensive. So staying here and travelling by car or cab is quite cheap. In the Hotel room everything else is fine except this kettle.

It's not insulated with the outer layer. It's just metal outside with boiling water inside. I bet accidentally any adult would touch the outside of this and burn the fingers. What about children? The place of the kettle was very reachable to the kids. I can't even imagine. I wonder how the inspection officers in the hotel didn't notice this when safety measures.

I request @Hotel inn to replace the kettle with thermal protection layer and give the place a little higher. So that adults can only access without burning their fingers and enjoy the holidays with a memorable and peaceful stay. Otherwise the room service and staff are very friendly. I would recommend this stay to my friends. (Expecting the Kettle issue resolved by then) Thanks

Very nice Holiday Inn Express. Extremely clean, well equipped rooms. Staff very helpful, gave us late checkout without any charge. Bed comfortable except pillows which were very hard. Glutton free choice at breakfast excellent.

We stayed here for 10 days. The lovely young lady who booked us in was so kind and we had a beautiful room overlooking the garden and trees. The included breakfast had great variety and Lucia and her teams were amazing - attentive and quick. The cleaning staff did a great job on tidying our room. There was ample parking even when the hotel appeared to be full on the weekends. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We highly recommend this hotel!

The service from the reception and breakfast staff us phenomenal. Keira from the breakfast serving team is so kind, warm, helpful and sweet. She really made my morning. I'm disabled and the reception team were very helpful in getting us the right room and the perfect floor etc. We are vegan and they had beans, vegan sausage, hash brown, herbal tea and banana.

We did miss the mushrooms but realised as it's an express they dont do this but given that it's a complimentary breakfast it's great value. It also has free parking and there's a lot I'd spaces. Highly recommend this hotel. Th for being so wonderful!

Clean and tidy. Good breakfast. Staff friendly and helpful. Special mention to Rachael on reception. Went out of her way to help my wife and was one of the best front desk people I have encountered on a hotel check in anywhere.
