We offer 17 individually appointed and styled rooms at Woodlands Lodge. Each of which mix contemporary and traditional design to ensure guests enjoy a comfortable and relaxing stay at our unique New Forest Hotel. Dogs are welcome to stay with us for a 10 nightly surcharge, in all our deluxe rooms and above (not in our standard rooms).

Woodlands Lodge is a licensed New Forest wedding venue for both civil ceremonies and civil partnerships. Offering a choice of three unique rooms for your ceremony: Woodlands licenced for up to 55, Garden room licenced for up to 75 and Wedgwood room licenced for up to 75 guests. We can accommodate banquet style dining in our Cattle grid restaurant.
Woodlands Lodge Hotel prides itself on being an inclusive destination where well-behaved dogs can enjoy a stay in the New Forest as much as their owners. A true dog friendly hotel in the New Forest. I attended a baby shower at Woodlands Lodge over the weekend and have to say the service and food were amazing. It's a beautiful venue that's tucked away in Woodlands. I spotted some garden games outside, it was perfect weather for a game of giant chess too! Beautiful venue, brilliant staff always making sure we were okay but without you really knowing they were there. I'll definitely come back! Glad I know it's there now.

This is a great boutique hotel, lovely setting, excellent service from simply everyone, very friendly and helpful, great food choices for every meal, and for those that need it dog friendly. There is good meal separation for those that dont want to dine with dogs. Finally whats more great value. Well done!

We had our wedding weekend at Woodlands Lodge Hotel and it was absolutely perfect. The team were always on hand to cater to our every need and everything went exactly to plan. I can't thank everyone enough nor could I have asked for anything more! The food was amazing and the gardens made for the best wedding photos. Thank you Imogene and team - we will definitely be back.

We had our wedding here 6months ago and had such a wonderful day. From our first visit three years ago, the staff have been warm, friendly and efficient. We were again greeted for dinner tonight with smiles and attentive service. Over the three years we have had cream teas, dinners and of course our wedding breakfast. My dietary needs are extremely well catered for, making a relaxing meal every time. Thank you to all the staff, including the chef, for giving us a special place to visit and see you again soon!

A good location next to the new forest woodland. Walkable to Ashurst and Lyndhurst. We stayed in a dog friendly room which was a really good size. Maybe the decor was a bit tired but we didn't mind. Room looked clean. Shower pressure was a bit weak. A nice large garden which led straight on to woodland. Staff were very polite and helpful throughout the visit. The food was excellent (dinner and breakfast). Accommodating vegan options. We stayed on a travel zoo offer.

Went there for Sunday lunch and expected a roast dinner as per their own menu. "Not today folks" "not enough guests to warrant cooking" What? Disappointed but the food was good off the menu. Ordered a pint and a half of shandy and got two large bottles of beer half empty with our two drinks. "They don't serve half pints only bottles" What? (Again) Therefore there was too much beer and we paid more for the privilege.
We could have shared one bottle between the two shandys. Point was we were not asked or told as such. Poor service there. However. Otherwise great. Pleasant staff. Nice location. Dog friendly too. Would go again.

We absolutely loved our stay here. Thank you so much Woodlands Lodge Hotel for such a wonderful 2 night stay with our little dog too. A very welcoming hotel. They did everything to make sure our stay was the best it could be. The food was amazing. The room was perfect. We will definitely be visiting again!

We had a lovely weekend in your garden suite. It was perfect for Murphy, easy access to the beautiful gardens was so handy. Applause to your chef. We ate dinner each evening and could not fault a single thing. Amazing food. And your staff were so lovely and friendly. It really helped Murphy as we were a little worried he'd be reactive, as this is the first hotel stay we've had since the pandemic started. He felt right at home right away, as did we. Thank you, we will be back! x

We visited for afternoon tea for a big family birthday. From the planning to the visit the service was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. I have an allergy and the information provided was both helpful and reassuring. I would highly recommend afternoon tea here, especially to dog owners looking for dog friendly locations.

Spent one night here as a precuser to my daughter's wedding next year. Trialled some of the food available for the big day and most options were excellent. Superb location for walking or cycling in the New Forest. Quite a small venue with I think only 17 rooms but ideal for our requirements. Rooms spotless and breakfast great. Staff could not do enough for you. Looking forward to our next visit.
