Cults Hotel

Had a great stay at this hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable and spacious room. Great nights sleep. Good food and the bar staff know how to make a great negroni.

Had a Birthday party. There was not enough food for my guests. Never going back.

We arranged a surprise birthday party there, first of all their service was so poor and their staff were so unfriendly and aggressive, also they even didn't stationed a barman for a bar that was located in function room and when we complained, we were told that we should ask in advance for it and they should charge us for a staff in the bar, but this time we will ignore it!

In dinner time while we ordered and paid 5 items finger foods for 44 people, plus for each person salad or fries, they provided for us just this plates that filled just once! ( as per attached photos ). Stage lamp was not working, We couldn't breathe in the hall as the air circulation was really horrible. When we asked to put the tables with more distant form each other, they did this job for us With a lot of grunting Briefly, I almost organised 100 parties in my life and it was the worse

It was an upsetting evening with such a poor service, inexperienced assigned staff and inadequate food portions. We had a discussion with staff which was responded with an impudent behavior.

We only went there for food. The menu has changed and it was less interesting than the previous one. Everything we tasted was blunt. The service was polite but very slow and the place is always beautiful

The food is good. Comfortable surroundings ( just don't sit at the seat above hot air vent) and good atmosphere.

Had lunch here on Saturday in the conservatory. Good service, we where not rushed once we had all finished eating. The fish and chips was very good, but no room for desert.

Very nice meal. We had 13* people in the upstairs room. Service was excellent

It was a special treat to come to The Cults Hotel for lunch. The table was booked in advance and just as well, the place was busy with diners. We followed all the current precautions, it was all very straight forward. I had the lunchtime special which was roast turkey, it was wonderful and it was quite a helping. It was good the windows were open as it was a warm day. It was a nice relaxed atmosphere and we found the staff very pleasant and helpful.

Excellent 1 night stay. Clean comfortable room, with a good breakfast. Very good evening meal cooked well and at a reasonable price.

Stayed for 3 nights. Room excellent. Bed comfy. Food great. Would ask when chips are a side order a wee bit more effort than frozen. But then was a busy Sunday so maybe this was why.

Cults hotel's Atlantis restaurant has plenty of space and relaxed open decor. Staff are friendly, helpful, and efficient. Food is good - with some excellent specials on a 'market' menu. We booked dinner early as they take orders only to 8.30pm.

Lovely atmosphere with great service. My only negative is there's currently a very limited menu but the food had by all 6 adults and 3 children was delicious!

Nice menu. Good choice of wines. Just wanted a light lunch. Had an excellent pate with oatcakes and chutney followed by a very decadent chocolate tart chantilly cream and a lovely sharp raspberry sorbet. Very efficient staff and well worth a visit. The full menu looked very good.

Been here couple of times for food as my Bro and his wife really like it. If you like your food really rich and hearty then it's all good. I had the Chicken Cranachan which to start with was great but not nearly enough sauce for such a dry dish, chicken was dry also which didn't help. Good service and the prices are about average. The choccy fudge sundae desert is awesome.if you manage it all!
