The breakfast was very scrumptious, and there was a healthy option also.additionally the rooms and beds were clean and very comfortable, and plenty of parking spaces. In the hotel pub, everything was so very affordable and so divine plus the local village ale was only 4.25 which is so very good. Recommended this place any day of the year

Only spent two nights there.the food was excellent especially the chicken curry, the exmoor real ale is excellent. The room was lovely and warm. it's a village that's stuck in a very relaxing time warp. The owners only want to make sure that guests are happy with everything at the hotel

A very welcoming country pub/hotel in a lovely location in the heart of Exmoor. Excellent food, friendly, efficient staff and our dog also felt very much at home here with all the perfect walks on the doorstep. Would highly recommend.

Very welcoming, incredibly dog friendly. The food was superb and the room was good too. I can understand why they get a lot of repeat guests. My wife and I loved it.

A great place to stay for exploring Exmoor, the Crown is a family run hotel offering a warm welcome and excellentservicethroughout our stay. We had delicious breakfasts and a very tasty evening meal. There was a huge and comfortable bed in our room, which overlooked the road and was consequently a little noisy, but this did not affect our 2 night stay here.

Very nice Exmoor country hotel, delivered exactly what it says on the tin. Friendly staff, well-kept ales, excellent varied breakfast served again by staff who were clearly expected to be warm and chatty. Comfortable rooms. No room service during pandemic recovery but room resupplies available just by asking. Recommended.

Lovely, timeless classic. This is how family hotels should be. We loved our visit. The setting is beautiful and the hotel very friendly, with a few quiet spots for hanging out as well. There was a pretty garden and outdoor seating. Our room was very clean, the towels thick and fluffy and our room nice and quiet. Breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend the superfood with smoked salmon. We didn't dine in due to other commitments, but the dining room looked full which suggests that the food must be good.
