My son had to be in selkirk for a meeting. The only time he traveled was on holiday abroad or driving past the boarders areas. Never been in Selkirk but Philip help my son & his fiancee greatly. & they loved the the room. Very clean, spotless. Definitely will book there again

We were driving through and stopped off for dinner. Delicious food. I had the shepherd's pie and my partner the steak and ale pie. He said it was the best he had ever had. Lovely fresh vegetables too. We also got a free drink with our meal for the Monday special. Bonus. Lovely staff too. Highly recommended. Full tummy s

Nice clean room nice clean cutlery and plates nice polite helpful people and all at a very reasonable price. I have paid twice this price and not been happy at plenty of other places. Why can't other businesses manage what these people are doing. Seriously I can't fault the place or the staff.

Friendly staff only to happy to help. Food was great. We had family and friends staying here and were in a few times for meals and coffee. They didn't mind us sitting and chatting for a while. Our friends and family said they had a comfortable stay.

Popped in for a quick lunch, good vegan and gluten free options on the menu and food was very good. Coffee was excellent, quick service and very friendly staff. Would definitely stop here again.

Nice, clean. Only had tea and scones. Only down side was 7 (seven) teabags in the pit of tea for two. One per cup and one for the pot? Great if you like strong tea. But I would go again, the homemade scones were well worth it.

The hotel itself isn't flash but the staff and excellent food being it to a whole new level. We had the exec king room and to have a walk in shower was wonderful. However the chaise longue on the room needs replacing - sit on it and it sinks to the floor. Looks lovely though! All in all, very very good value hotel.
