Vatiable. First breakfast sevice was diabolical and when breakfast eventually arrived it was burnt. Second breafast was good and service was good. It was the same at dinner some were good some were inedible. Some staff were amazing some left a lot to be desired. One member of staff said if I didn't like it I was welcome to pack my bags. I was on a coach tour with a group. The most rude was the man who said he was the owner.

Now called Oceanic. Tremendous view of Fistral Beach. Freshly refurbished. Classy Funk theme throughout. Menu. Euro Asian influences, excellent burgers and traditional UK favourites. Wide selection of beers, wines and spirits. Cocktails well mixed. Excellent staff. 1st class accommodation. Hygiene standards A1. The rooms with astounding views are Much in demand. Well behaved dog friendly.

Excellent location - just by Fistral beach and a nearby town centre with restaurants and cafes. Room was bigger than expected, large windows with sea views. The room was nicely furnished and clean. Parking was conveniently available on site. Breakfast had good vegetarian and non-vegetarian cooked options, fresh juice, coffee, and cereal. Maybe you could provide some fruit in the future as well. The restaurant onsite was nice and it's a shame we didn't get to eat there due to our busy holiday schedule.

Hotel is in a very good location for access to fistral and Newquay Town. Beach is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Parking is available for a small fee. Hotel is well presented and clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The food in the resteraunt was actually very good. Our room was small but clean and the bed was very comfortable.

Stayed here with our retriever for one night. The staff were very friendly. The room was bright and clean with tea and coffee available and a very comfortable super king bed. We had tasty fish and chips in the restaurant where our dog was welcomed too and given treats. Very relaxed and cosy atmosphere. The hotel was adhering to covid restrictions such as mask wearing, social distanced tables and a one way system around the hotel.
The staff were all friendly despite working very hard. We also enjoyed the breakfast which was included, as did our dog(!) where again the staff were again efficient and friendly while being very busy. Would definitely stay again

The owner of the hotel (I think William) was very responsive to our requests (twin rooms/sea view, cancellation terms). We had a much smaller group than expected because of the Dennis Storm. The service at the reception & breakfast was spotless. Rooms clean, enough hot water on top floors, location is excellent. Relaxed and friendly atmosphere. It was stated 2*, but was much better than couple of 3* stars we stays last year in the Newquay! Well done, best Regards. @evebustours
