Enjoy a drink in our spacious bar with crackling fire, or cosy up in the adjoining morning room. All our cask ales are made locally along with our craft beers, plus there's a selection of continental lagers and session ales on tap and a great cocktail list. The Bull Room is our gorgeous cosy private room which has its own bar, garden and separate entrance.
The Bull Hotel's stretch of the River Coln offers a wide variety of fly fishing opportunities for trout and grayling. The river, which runs gin clear for most of the year, has a very healthy population of wild brown trout and grayling and very good fly life, including a large mayfly hatch. Most days there is a hatch of upwing flies giving the chance to catch on the dry fly.
The Bull's fishing runs for around a mile and a quarter downstream from the main road bridge in the centre of Fairford. There is no dedicated parking for the beat but there is ample on-street parking in the market square and on the High St. The top of the beat features an island and this can be reached easily from the back of the hotel.

This was a happy surprise as we had arrived at Fairford to collect an item then decided to take a walk and stopped at the Bull for a roast, which turned out to be the best roast I've ever had, glorious roast beef, roast potatoes and fresh vegetables. Beautiful old building, lovely helpful staff, a perfect way to spend lunchtime can't wait to visit again and stay over next time.

The Bull Hotel is a Grade II listed Cotswold coaching inn with stylish rooms in a beautiful market town in the Gloucestershire Cotswolds. The pub offers both casual and private dining spaces and a traditional pub bar, with open fires, and serving local craft beers. The atmosphere was very inviting to stay, warm with a friendly staff. The dishes were delicious, my trout was incredible and the mix with the cream was perfect.
The tortellini were very tasty and had a delicate flavour. The dessert was one of those that you never want to be finished. I could have a bucket of their incredible lemon curd! No doubt that the experience with them was a top one from the very start.

What a delightful place to stay, a traditional building with warm, clean and homely rooms to stay. The breakfast was amazing, a good variety for various tastes and cooked / prepared wonderfully. Thoroughly recommend both the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs and also the creamed avocado with feta and chilli with poached egg on toasted sourdough. most delicious.

My husband and I have just stayed at The Bull for 3 nights as we were going to a wedding in Poulton. It's a lovely warm cosy and welcoming place good food and the staff attentive and courteous. I unfortunately fell whilst at the wedding and sprained my foot which was extremely painful. Hava and Tish in particular were very kind and helpful and made sure we had what we needed to make me as comfortable as possible.even bringing our breakfast up to our room the following morning. Despite my injury we had a lovely stay and would definitely come back again in the future.

The rooms were comfy and had everything we needed but the menu was not very kid friendly it did not have anything a picky eater would have apart from the cheese burgers and they would have had to take many things away from it. The choosing not to sure if this was their fault but the bride got a smaller room then the brides mother and father. The heating in many of the rooms we stayed in had no heating but they dealt with it very well because they gave them a wind machine which warmed the room up with in general the rooms were well decorated and a good amount of space and the food was good quality. The staff were very kind to me and my cousin qnd the manager was very kind to the fact we would be getting back late

Party of five had Sunday Lunch here today. Choice of 3 starters, 3 roasts as well as fish and veggie options and a plethora of puddings. All courses were well presented, served by very friendly staff, the roast dinners were hot and everyone enjoyed all their meals. If I'm being super critical, more veg on the plate would've gone down a treat, as well as cauliflower cheese perhaps? We would most definitely return and would highly recommend.

We went as part of a large party. (Including children and dogs!) We ordered ahead of time. All the food arrived in good time (not too slow not too quick) and tasted great. Friendly staff and pleasant decor. Everything felt very relaxed yet well organised. Exactly what you'd hope for. I highly recommend it. Absolutely no negatives about our whole experience. Well done!

Very nice friendly staff great service always wanting to please. Stayed bed and breakfast, room clean and tidy super en suite. Our room was adjacent to creaky stairs but who wouldn't creak when your as old as this. Meals were great, good value in the pub, with good selection of beer, cider wine. Breakfast was included, good selection to choose from.

We had a fantastic stay at The Bull Hotel. The room was clean, spacious and comfy with great attention to detail. The bar staff were a real highlight, with great recommendations and knowledge. The breakfasts were tasty as was the cheese board. The location is stunning. I really recommend staying here.
