We had our wedding here and it was an absolutelty outstabdinf venue! Throughout the whole process Staci was amazing with us and helped in whichever way possible. When we went to stay over before the wedding we couldn't believe how nice the rooms were. Beautiful views, very large, well equipped with hot drinks etc and cookies and fruit. The bathrooms were very luxurious.

Dinner was exceptional quality with local ingredients where possible. Service was very quick and the staff very friendly, it felt like a family. Breakfast was amazing and very filling! On the day of the wedding Brockencote was stunning, there were lots of areas for guests to enjoy and the team were so so good at making everything run smoothly. Guests that stayed commented that they would be returning as dinner/hotel guests at some point. We cannot wait to return to Brockencote as a husband and wife! Tom

The food served at the hotel is outstanding. We very much enjoyed the quality of food on offer for both evening meal and breakfast. The service from staff was fantastic too. The hotel is in a stunning setting with lots to explore in the locality. Our room was on the top floor with a narrow staircase to access it. The hotel has no lift access, but they did offer to carry our bags up for us.

The only issue we had in the room was the shower. As the room is in the eaves of the hotel, the sloping ceiling meant it was impossible for us to stand upright in the shower. Water flooded all over the floor during the shower too. Water pressure from the sink taps was very low too.

Three of us had afternoon tea. It was all very fresh and appetizing. Staff were so friendly and courteous. Would definitely recommend.

Delicious sandwiches and scones and luxurious cakes in wonderful room by a log fire with beautiful scenery. Seated on sofas with low coffee table which was a little uncomfortable for afternoon tea. Warm welcome from head waitress I assume. Did not see her again throughout our stay. No rapport with our shy overworked waitress whose main duties appeared to be in another room. 20% service charge which I thought was unusual for afternoon tea. Reception staff not too friendly. We went before the pandemic for Sunday lunch and it was much better experience.

Attended a private function with friends, and basically everything you could ask for in a birthday celebration was provided. There was a bar for a drink afterwards. The hosts choice of wine was impeccable. Lucky me. The venue itself is in a lovely setting and location and looks great from the outside. Inside the service, food and facilities couldn't be faulted. I'm intending to treat my wife sometime later this year. Highly recommended

Wonderful stay, very friendly staff who are all keen to help and make our stay wonderful. Food was amazing. Only criticism would be the menu doesn't change there are five choices but I struggled on the third night to choose having had the tasting menu on the second night. As a result I had to choose the same main course on the first and third night. That said, it was still delicious! Warm and comfortable room, amazing be bathroom. Will definitely be going back.

For my wife's birthday we went to BH for dinner. As always the staff were very silver service and polite. The menu varied and an extensive wine list. We had an excellent evening the prices reflect the stature and reputation of the place. Ideal for that special occasion.

Wonderful place for a meal or a stay. Warm and professional service, immaculately clean rooms, and spectacular food (the evening meal was incredible but I only have a photo of the delicious breakfast :( ).

Absolutely FAB! Can't fault this beautiful hotel at all.after a long drive it was extremely welcoming with very helpful and pleasant staff.who couldn't do enough and actually went the extra mile for us.as after a long drive we had to relax and unwind before the evenings event. Everything was of top quality furnishings in rooms.service and food.and good humour was 5 star for sure.there was absolutely nothing not catered for.and the hotel was extremely busy too.! A beautiful hotel for sure just off the village road although even though there is a massive lit up sign I still managed to pass it twice. HA!

We got married at Brockencote Hall back in 2009! Since then they have been taken over, given a lick of paint, changed the service and by the frames in the hallway, won a bunch of awards. It's still magical going there and great to go for our very first Sunday Lunch. The food was gorgeous, the presentation awesome and the surroundings quality.

This is definitely one of our most favourite fine dining locations in the world. For a special lunch or dinner, I highly recommend it. We also must stay again to see what the refurbished rooms look like!

A lovely country house built in the 20s in French chateau style. We stayed in a ground floor double room with a lovely view of sheep grazing over the ha ha. Comfortable bed, plenty of space, storage, seating, large bathroom (with natural light - no nasty, dark little box rooms here) with shower and bath and lots of hot water, tea/coffee etc in rooms and fruit laid out on a table in the corridor.

Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast (except for disgusting coffee). Beautiful grounds with a duck pond and dovecote. Idyllic village with church, two pubs, tea room, village shop, butchers, florists, salon, post office, etc. The only flaw in this otherwise perfect place was the appalling interior decor. Trying hard to be French chateau (with the occasional forray into tropical luxury - the conservatory lounge - and modern cool - the bar) and failing at every step. Ignore the ersatz attempts at pastoral sophistication and enjoy the comfort, friendliness, and good food. 150 for a double room with breakfast.
