Started one night for a party in the ballroom. Where to check in was not obvious ( small table to the right of the bar) and the stairs to the rooms are directly off the main bar. Rooms were clean and comfy and the staff were very friendly.

Revamped and gotta say it's by far the best hotel around North Herts. the beds are super comfortable. the food is very good. large drinks selection including some very unique Japanese whiskey. Great location as near train station and 5 mins from A1 motorway. All the staff are super friendly and professional and to top it off for me.they have live music from time.to time. 6 stars out of 5

No plug socket on my side of the bed other then that the staff were awesome and so happy to help and room was clean. Breakfast was great though. Maybe a little expensive for the size of the room but a great night's sleep.

Lovely stay. All the staff are so friendly, amiable and helpful. I had a cleanliness issue with initial room l was allocated and they quickly resolved it. Breakfast was lovely. Very short walking distance to station which was really handy for me. Would definitely stay here again.

We booked the Ballroom for a Memorial Service for our Dad. I can only say that is was an excellent experience all round. Very professional and polite staff and an excellent buffet which was very good value. Thank you very much to everyone involved.

I've been struggling with this place. But I really like it. And I'm a 50+ y/o bald man So, here's why. It's got a lift that makes you feel like you're twelve years old and in a rocket ship that you'd built. That should be enough. However, walking into the room for the first time just put me in a warm, safe, place. My double room had a nice bedroom, leading to a small 'study' and then on to the bathroom All very simple.

The Bathroom reminds me of a flat I used to rent in East London. Cold, white, a bit French perhaps, but with a powerful shower, above a large bath. The check-in was easy, nice staff too. I suppose it's a bit shabby chic. Or shabby. But for me, it's a really nice place with the best lift.

After a day in London we were happy to come back to Letchworth Garden City for a meal. Pleasantly surprised with the new Broadway. We both had chicken schnitzel and fries, which was massive and then I had the chocolate sundae. Self contained booth's were good, staff attentive for such a large venue and enjoyable food. They also fitted us in, without booking, on a Saturday night.

We went there for a Sunday roast. The place was quite busy and noisy. The roast area wasn't organised well as the queue was next to the tables with people eating. The veg area was a bit chaotic, wasting potential queuing area, lacking there. Person serving had quite large hear, with no head cover (in the pub we usually go to, person serving uses a head cover). The food was OK. The place was very clean and tidy, well decorated, the staff was nice and helpful. The carpark was free and quite busy. Dogs are not welcome indoors.

Impressed with new decor. A lovely place to meet with friends or family. Staff very helpful and friendly. Food very nice but a bit overpriced for what we had. A fair choice on the menu.

I had the crispy chicken burger and will admit, it's one of the best I've had. The food gets 5 stars! The elevator is super tiny and kind of terrifying if you don't do well with small closed in spaces. My room was clean and had clean sheets and plenty towels, but there was an intense smell like sewage coming in through the window. Mattress was comfy but the smell kept me awake.

I had the chicken coujons they tasted like something I made in year 9 cookery class. The most disappointing thing ever. Also it was well expensive. Better off at the hungry horse if you ask me it's better and cheaper.

The rooms were a little tired but can't knock the cleanliness. The beds were comfy and the staff very pleasant and accommodating. Breakfast was included and very nice. 80 a night for a family of 4 I have never stopped anywhere better.

Great time experienced by my family at the Broadway. All of us very much enjoyed our meal choosing both carvery and main menu meals. Great service and a nice atmosphere. Will definitely visit again.

Lovely family celebration lunch, carvery as delicious as always and main courses well received. Service was faultless and efficient. Look forward to our next visit.

Went to the carvery for the 2nd time as 1st visit had been good. The meal was excellent and the service good as before. What annoyed me intensely was after examining the bill finding an 'optional 10% service charge that was added without being asked especially as i tipped our waitress for her good work anyway. I do not think i will return again due to the hidden charge.

Came here for food, but I wish we didn't. The food was overpriced for what it was. I had a carvery which had too many faults. Mashed potato tasted and smelled like baby sick, the stuffing was a perfect round ball that was clearly from the freezer. Roast potatoes were stodgy. Yorkshire pudding was stodgy. My partner ordered the ribs and fries, but the ribs were dry and tasteless.

I had to wait ages for a high chair that we had already ordered so I had to ask, but also the rest of us were served our food and my partner was the only one who didn't get his, ended up waiting half an hour whilst all of us ate and then eventually I had to ask a waiter, it finally came out. Even the Coke was vile and I was told by everyone I was with not to get it. The only good things was that one of the waiters was very tentative and the decor and toilets were very nice.

Cappuccino was muggy unfortunately I'm guessing it may have sat there on the counter before being brought out. I had a soup and salmon bagel, and the other person had chicken dish. My soup was again not that warm, but the bagel was very nice, lots of salmon in it and a good size and was pleased with it, chicken dish again was very nice good size and not frozen foods like some restaurants serve.

All freshly made. Can't fault the food! really nice in every respect. So food is good, good size portions and staff are all very nice. Just soup and coffees were not warm enough otherwise I would give it a 5* parking right outside and also car park at rear, and free parking next door in Morrison for 3 hours
