The university city of Aberdeen is located on the North Sea in the far north east of Scotland. This is the third largest city in Scotland (after Glasgow and Edinburgh). Aberdeen is known as a university city and is also called the "Granite City" or the "Gray City". These names refer to the many gray granite buildings of the city. The "Silver City with the Golden Sands" is also used to describe Aberdeen, of course this name refers to the beauty of the city and the golden beaches. You can enjoy a beach walk in Aberdeen, but also a visit to one of the following 10 sights.

Room was okay however there was nobody to greet you upon entry, just a sign directing you to the self check in. Breakfast was buffet self service however the food was cold, bacon undercooked and no black pudding. Parking was also terrible, no signs directing you to the car park next door which was dirty and spaces were tiny and hard to park in.

Moved room 3 times, first room hadn't been made up, second room no main lights in room and bathroom (no maintenance on site). Third room ok but fan and light not working in bathroom. I was offered a complimentary breakfast which I was looking forward to. Went down to breakfast next morning at 7 am, breakfast was cold. Will consider looking elsewhere in the area next time.

Having stayed tens of times, I can say that very often you get one set of towels when room is booked for two people. The body / hand wash dries out the skin. If you need more coffee/ toilet paper/ etc, sometimes staff aren't the easiest to find - but that's no surprise when one person has to be on front desk and in the restaurant. But it is a great location, it's clean and decent enough.

Incredible that a chain of hotels like this has such serious problems of staff, the receptionist acts as a waitress, bartender, and I think that the kitchen also I give a low rating not for them but for the manager who is certainly relaxed at his home quiet and here in Hotel there are people who are doing all they can to give good service, I do not recommend this hotel.

The room I had, on the 9th floor, was very basic. The window was fully condensated between the glass not allowing you to see out. Curtains did not fit allowing light in ealry morning. I stayed for 3 nights and on night one the tea making facilities were missing milk, over the next 2 nights nothing got replenished. Service for meals was slow and food was basic. staff were very apologetic and friendly. would I stay here again. not really.

Arrived into the car park opened the boot on my Citroen c3 to get my suitcase out and my boot caught on the roof structure marking it. Booking in was efficient. The room was very basic large cobweb and the Central light fitting. The bed was very high but was a comfortable. Only have one tub chair no table onia desk needs another chair and table for coffee etc. Breakfast was very disappointing it was a buffet I'd ordered poached eggs which were hot but nothing else was.
