The De Vere Belfry

The Brabazon course in amazing condition and an unbelievable course. Dave, the starter for the Brabazon course, was very helpful, professional and accommodating. even let us play an extra deciding hole for our match. Made a great experience even better! Thank you Dave!

Birthday night stay, excellent, Clean, friendly staff lovely food just expensive but this was expected, , beautiful suite, tea, coffee, robes(1 broken), slippers hairdryer, balcony with excellent view of the famous golf course, breakfast 10,10 would recommend and return. Really enjoyed our stay and would return.

Attended a charity fundraiser and whilst the food for the non vegans in our group was very good, the vegan food was very bland in flavour and what was on offer lacked any imagination. The staff are very good and are a credit to themselves. The price of drinks is an absolute disgrace and I fail to see how they can justify charging these prices. Unfortunately this took the edge of what overall was a very good event for a cause close to our family.

Very hard to review.but. Positives: - Brabazon is a really nice course with 10 or 11 proper nice golf holes. The back 9 is a bit underwhelming but it was in very nice condition - the breakfast was good - the rooms were nice - the staff everywhere were friendly and welcoming - the history was everywhere and interesting for the golfer The pool was good Negatives - the PGA course was very poorly maintained with some good holes but majority of bog standard pay and play holes, no idea where fairway ended and rough began and greens were pretty slow and bobbly - the prices at the resort were nothing short of daylight robbery.6.50+ for a beer! 4.50 a coffee.belfry pitch marker 9 - sand in bunkers was scarce on both courses - pace of play was painful due to being rammed - in the evening, a wait of 25 mins to be served at the bar was a result - range was expensive and of the 40 balls I had, 4 were dunlop and 3 were slazengers - all of the putting greens were closed Glad I played it.and would play brabazon again for the experience but won't cry if that doesn't happen.

The Belfry was excellent. I was held up with an incident on the motorway for an hour. My tee time was booked for 10:20 and without the holdup i would have arrive around 09:30. They moved the tee times to ensure we couls still play and after arriving at 10:30, we teed off at 11:10. The golf shop staff were extremely helpful. The course was good and although a bit boggy in places due to all the rain, these did not affect the fairways or my golf. The driver who took us to and fetched us back from the 1st tee was brilliant Well done to the Belfry staff, a most enjoyable round of golf.

The Belfry is an amazing place not just for golf but for meetings of all occasions. This was my first time at the Belfry golf club and found it to be very welcoming, the staff were great and catering department did everything very well. I was there for an 80th birthday party and included a three course meal. The golf course also serves as an excellent backdrop for photography, see photos.

Outstanding set up and fantastic golf. Shame about the prices of beer. 5.75 for a bottle of bud that costs 50p is a bit steep for profiteering.

Great iconic venue covid safe and courteous staff. Played the Brabazon course which was in great nick. Shame the greens staff can't keep on top of the leaves which covered the entire 9th fairway and we lost 2 balls in the fairway. Apart from that can't fault the course.

Beautiful golf resort. Huge and easy to get lost in! Two coffee's 10.40!
