The Ashburton House offers fantastic bed and breakfast accommodation in a perfect location in the beautiful coastal resort of Scarborough. Our Scarborough B&B has been rated 4 Stars by the English Tourism Council and provides excellent value accommodation in a charming Victorian property. The Guest House is located just a few minutes walk along the beautiful tree lined Valley Road to the South Bay Beach and Scarborough town centre. We are proud to be a family run Bed & Breakfast that works hard to ensure we offer a cheerful friendly atmosphere, good home cooking and first class accommodation.
Services
We have fantastic variety in the eight rooms that we have available. Starting from a large single room, double and twin rooms including one with a Queen Anne style four poster bed and a great selection of family rooms one of which can sleep up to 5 people in interconnecting rooms. All of our rooms are en suite and most with large walk in showers, all are equipped with free Wi-Fi flat screen tv's and complimentary tea & coffee. All home cooked using lots of locally sourced produce including jams & condiments.
To ensure your experience is a positive one, if you have any questions or requests, please contact us. When entering Scarborough from either side you will see signs for the South Bay and Spa Conference Centre, follow these signs which will bring you onto Valley Road which is the main road that comes off the southern end of the South Bay.

Such a lovely place to stay We haven't been to Scarborough for a few years, but this is our fourth visit to Ashburton House and it was every bit as good as we remembered. The same friendly owners who make you feel so welcome. Comfortable and beautifully maintained, the breakfast is superb. Reccomend the Ashburton Full House, its so good that l couldn't be tempted by other choices ithat are available during our four day stay. Could be worthy winners of televisions Four in a Bed, unbeatable value

What can I say apart this place me and my husband stayed is perfect. We had a lovely comfortable stay gorgeous breakfast well worth the money they charge. Lovely spotless clean rooms just fabulous. Will I recommend this place I sertenley would. Thank you for a fabulous stay see you hard working 3 soon

We booked Ashburton House for 3 days and from the moment we got there we already knew it was the right decision to stay there. Steven was a very welcoming host from the minute we checked in and was always available to help if needed. We stayed in room 1 and was immediately impressed with the quality of the decaux and ensuite bathroom. Complimentary toileteries where supplied, including towels(although we used our own).
The room has brew making facilities with coffee/tea/choc provided, with topups if needed in the hallway and a TV if you can't be without it. The four poster bed was comfortable and the electric blinds where really handy as well, decent heating also made it a very comfortable room to sleep in. We opted for the extra 5 per person Breakfast which was excellent, even though the menu is small it does offer something for everyone, full cooked english, fruit/cereal, smoked salmon withs eggs etc. Well worth it even if you just have a couple of fresh coffees and toast.
