Charming boutique hotel. Reception staff were welcoming and very helpful. Breakfast was included in the tariff but as we were leaving at 5:30 am, it would not have been possible. Reception staff offered to give us breakfast in a bag which we thought might be an apple and a bran muffin. Early the next morning we were given very generous bags (fruit salad, fresh egg salad sandwiches, power bar, juice box) that counted as breakfast and lunch that day.

The room was fine we had drinks and a pleasant dinner in the hotel. Service was slow but, as we have heard all over the world, they are short-staffed. Above all, we enjoyed our experience here and the price was very competitive, especially for quality of the hotel and this wonderful location. Would stay here again.

Been better hotels good for who don't want to pay more money but they're around better hotels, one just near tube station

Wow, the staff are so lovey, you couldn't have asked for better. Room ( club ) very nice, small bar area but still good, breakfast, everything you need, and fresh. Gloucester road tube station about 10 min walk, Kensington park and Albert hall about 6 mins. Loved it, would definitely stay again, was for my husband's birthday and on the day they left a cake and fruit platter in our room.

Room and bathroom very clean and pleasant, have had cleaning service everyday, great breakfast everything fresh, couldn't ask more sincerely, friendly staff. However dinner is not recommended, same menu throughout the week, the worst thing is that English people/Chef can't cook at all, they make a mix of food from every world's corner on the same plate, visually unappealing and not healthy

We really liked this Hotel. It was elegant without being stuffy or ostentatious. The room and bathroom were very clean and pleasant. The staff were very polite, helpful and efficient. Couldn't really fault it for the price.

Staff and food were very good, room was disappointing, tired and in need of some TLC. Also was not amused that after being out for most of the day our room had not been serviced at 4pm! Not what you expect from a 4 star hotel. Great location for the Royal Albert Hall.

We went a couple of weeks ago. We don't know London that much, but we went in and the Receptionist was fantastic. We had breakfast there too, and the girls doing the breakfast were amazing. So to The Queens Gate Hotel thank you so much. We will come back

Where do I start the first room allocated was that small you had to shimmy passed the end of the bed the floor creaked so badly we asked for another room and we're upgraded to a lovely room on ground floor unfortunately it was freezing as air conditioning was locked on and the only heat were 2 radiators which were located behind floor length curtains and were both turned off.

Also they have laminate flooring which meant everytime the people in the room above us moved it sounded terrible and creaking floors all night also the noise when they used their bathroom toilet or shower was terrible. I would roccomend the management spend a night in room 1007 when the hotel is full to get an idea of what the guest have to deal with. On the up side the staff were lovely and really did try to help remedy our problems unfortunately they couldn't help with the noise from upstairs.

Booked a standard king room and it was perfect for us, more than you need for staying one night. Friendly and polite staff. Breakfast was very good, everything fresh.

Had a lovely stay here - room was in great shape, staff was friendly, and the breakfast was great, especially since it's included. Great value for where it's located too. Only a few minute walk to the tube.

Was amazing. But room smaller than expected no view as window on basement level and view of smoking erea so not price. Breakfast amazing and shower. Tip find out witch room you on but not basement floor

Nice hotel. Good breakfast. Nice rooms and helpful staff. . Small bar and restaurant, but plenty restaurant not far away.

Good: Clean, big room, comfortable beds, great location and all the staff we spoke to were warm, welcoming and professional. Not so good stuff: Maintenance not up to date - two curtains - only one with blackout, bathroom needed some tlc - ie new shelf and new lead on hairdryer. Other: Single glazed windows were fine for us but light sleepers might find them a challenge.

In response to your reply, it's not appropriate to pick out one member of staff with regard to the room service issue. Your receptionist made it clear there wasn't room service for ANYTHING that evening or morning breakfast.

Clean, friendly, really close to Albert Hall and Kensington Gardens. Rooms nice enough with a great shower.

A great hotel ideally located for sightseeing. The room was spacious, clean, well equipped and very comfortable. The staff are very pleasant and attentive. A hotel I would gladly return to.

Excepcional location, amazing food (go for the chicken, you are welcome), friendly staff. The room was a great size for us, a pram and a baby cot. Easily accessible by tube and very well located to enjoy Soho, Mayfair and Kensington. Just a tip, walk to the waterfront to get on the clippers/Uber boat for the price of the tube and enjoy London by water.

Comfortable bed, lovely clean room, staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast great. All in all great value for money and just around the corner from the Albert Hall.

Nice clean hotel, helpful friendly staff, very good location, beds are big and comfy. Small niggle-never enough milk, tea and toilet role in the room (although room service did sort this quite quickly)

Our stay here was a memorable one. We got the room by the ground level and it was huge! I love the mixture of old and the modern amenities in particularly in the bathroom. Breakfast was something we always looked forward to. the OJ machine was the best thing ever!
