One of the best b&bs we have stayed in. The whole place was delightful & the breakfast was absolutely brilliant. Will definitely stay there again. Would recommend to anyone.

A welcome stay from the hosts. Lovely extra touches, chocolate, biscuits, water, tea coffee etc left daily. Ideal location just up the road from the train station, close to the riverside, mother shiptons, town, castle, bars and restaurants.

Good Place to Stay, Decent Foods, and beauty. However low rating because it was warm last night but I will let them away with it.

It was lovely to stay at Kirkgate House. Cosy room with view directly on to Knaresborough Castle. Refreshmnts galore including fresh daily milk and refrigerated water. Karen is a wonderful, chatty host and cooks a hearty a la carte breakfast with a fantastic choice of local produce. Highly recommended.

Lovely B&B our room was spotless, very comfortable and with the best tea and snacks tray ever, that kept getting topped up even though I was scoffing all the biscuits. The breakfast is fantastic and the location is great, 1 min walk to the town square, but it's on a really quiet small street. Karen went the extra mile surprising me with a candle in my hash brown at breakfast and a lovely card as it was my birthday, we will go back again soon

Lovely would stay here again. Very clean and the owners are welcoming. There's a lovely little garden to sit out in. Stayed for one night. The welcome tray was lovely not just your usual tea and coffee but also biscuits juice and chocolate which was a very nice touch. The breakfast was really tasty, the dining room is relaxing and spotlessly clean. Would recommend to anyone

We stayed at Courtyard Cottage behind Kirkgate House; it is delightful. Room for 2 people + 1dog. Small well maintained and well equipped holiday let. Spotlessly clean, everything you could need. Suitable for those with reduced mobility, just 2 small steps from kitchen into living area. We can heartily recommend this place. 50 yards into town centre.
