Would not recommend Arrived at 4pm, check in supposed to be 3pm. When we got there, key cards to rooms not working. Offered a complimentary drink, but I have a 20 month old and 5 year old. I am heavily pregnant and there were no highchairs in the whole entire building, yet they state they are family friendly. Finally checked in 1.5 hour later. Room bug, nice bed, but it was dirty, cobwebs and hairs in edges of bathroom floor.
Tea stain on carpet which could easily be cleaned off using stain removed or even out soapy water., expected to be done with the price u pay. there is a lift but there are stairs after the lift to the room we had. Which wasn't ideal with a pram.wifi in our room was terrible. Non existent and the signal was very poor. No air con in rooms. Over priced, and its a place where it looks posh, but just isn't

Very dated, cleaners need sacking, bedroom carpets stained and decor dated, dust everywhere, bathroom was beautiful such a contrast to the rest of the room. Main function room mirrors you could write your name in. Overall this hotel is lacking care and attention to detail. Function food was very good and far surpassed what I was expecting after booking in. Hotel chain is charging 4 star prices for 1 star accommodation

Service was nonexistent at this hotel. We couldn't get through to reception the week before and had to call their head office in the end. When we got there they said we should have booked our spa treatments beforehand and so we're fully booked and we couldn't have any. Next up was the spa itself, where they didn't have any full sized towels and so we got given 2 small towels instead.
This was in addition to the fact that the robes weren't dry 'for some reason' and so we had to walk around in swimwear in the cold. The food was quite good to be fair but it seemed like the staff had no idea how to deal with customers, not sitting us at the table or being particularly attentive. It took 25 minutes from being given a dessert menu to taking the order.
I wouldn't mind but there were only 4 tables to wait on! Then our door key got wiped and we had to wait around at reception for 10 minutes before someone came to assist. You know a hotel is bad when you can hear other people complaining about it. We had a 1pm checkout but just decided to leave early. Would not recommend.

Absolutely terrible service. After paying the deposit our spa day was cancelled half an hour before we were due there! We were told it was fully booked, they offered to re book us but how are 7 people meant to get the same day off work again? This had been planned for ages. Luckily we were able to find somewhere else so my sister in laws birthday wasn't ruined

DO NOT STAY HERE our room was cancelled the day before and was only told by email. tried for 4 hours on phone calls to different people to try find out why. turns out it was because a wedding party booked last minute so they gave our room away as they were paying more even though we booked 2 months ago. Hotel have send they are not giving us refunds, no explanation as to why and cant get through via email or phone anymore. currently in contact with trading standards as what they are doing is illegal.

Enjoyed our latest stay here. Refurbished rooms are excellent with modern bathrooms and large screen TVs. Food throughout was superb, especially dinner. Staff attitude and service much improved. Would recommend this hotel but watch road down to carpark, You can catch the bottom of the car on the sharp bend. This is way overdue for repair.

Recently refurbished Definitely worth upgrading the room to an executive Food was really nice Some staff were young and lacking experience but still polite and friendly The evening receptionist was lovely. She was very helpful when asked about Ilkley nightlife and getting a taxi booked Spa is quite small but functions well- the mud rasul is a must Would definitely return
