This is a beautiful location, and characterful old building with lovely grounds. The guy on reception was lovely, and very helpful. The room (no.10), was spacious with private, separate toilet and bathroom. Sadly, it was very tired. The carpet badly worn and stained, and extended to toilet and bathroom.-rather unsanitary. The tiles in bathroom badly cracked-the bed mattress old and uncomfortable.
There is no food available so does not qualify as a bed and breakfast! It is, really, very sad as it could be so lovely-it appears that it works well as a wedding venue, but as a hotel outside these functions it does not!

We had the all inclusive wedding package at Wincham Hall, it took the pressures away of having to find our own florist, photographer, cake and car. Each of the suppliers they provided were amazing and provided a excellent service. The wedding day at Wincham Hall went perfect and everything went so smoothly. Not a thing I would of changed! Thankyou Jackie and the team for making everything go so well x

Stayed here with my daughter and newborn. Nice building an location. Man on reception gave us a warm welcome. Musty smell on entering and stairs an landing very cold. Room good size an bed comfy an clean. Carpet was very old and also looked dirty/stained. Crack in bath panel and bathroom needs updating. Shelf above sink dirty, looked like toothpaste stains. No toiletries. No hot water from the taps. Not ideal with baby and child. Could be a lovely place.

The worst place I have stayed in a long time. Room 6 was dreadful, bed against wall, awful cheap pine wardrobe made for a Lilliputian and a bathroom that begged belief with broken tiles, no shower (ripped off the wall), NO TOILETRIES & GRUBBY NET CURTAIN at the window. No breakfast Sunday am. 89 for the night. I wouldn't pay them 29 as stayed in many a Premier Inn or Travelodge for this price in far better surroundings.
Oh and often stay in 4 or 5 star hotels. To say WH is 4* is a joke right down to the rickety stairs, awful mismatched carpets, continually flickering hall lights, paper thin walls and doors made of cardboard. Book at your own risk!
