A short trip to the Highlands in 2017 left us feeling enchanted and motivated for our life long dream of owning and running a small hotel in the Highlands! We are delighted that our dream came true and we are now very proud to present our beautiful wee highland gem to Scottish tourism and hotel Loch Ness and hope you love the place as much as we do.
Services
We have 6 small doubles, each with a double bed. All rooms are en-suite with either a shower or a bath with shower over it. We pride ourselves in ensuring a good night's sleep and a comfortable stay. Our rooms reflect our quirky public spaces and have items of handmade fittings created by local craftsman.
We have 3 king sized rooms; two of them have capacity for a child's bed (pull down) for a supplement. Please let us know when booking if this is required. One room has a super king bed and the other two have king sized beds. Enjoy a traditional Highland stay in one of the best positioned rooms in the house.
We pride ourselves in presenting the best of Scottish produce. We work with local suppliers to provide local produce. Our venison comes from the local estate at Garragie, just 5 miles from the hotel. Our jams and marmalades come from local producer, Jinty's Jams & Jellies, just 3 miles away. We always source local and regional produce where available.
Set in the foothills of the Monadhliath mountains and just 3 miles from Loch Ness, the Whitebridge Hotel is a spectacular setting to base yourself to explore the scenery and things to do near Loch Ness and across the Highlands. Have a look around some of the recommendations we have for things to do near Loch Ness but get in touch if you'd like more tailored recommendations.

Beautiful small hotel with a warm friendly welcome, interesting decor and lovely clean and quiet rooms. The hotel boasts a residents lounge with chess, board games and books galore as well as a bar and restaurant with on-site car parking and an outdoor seating area for those warm evenings. The restaurant (home-cooked) and bar is open to non-guests and is well worth a visit if you are in the area, although booking is recommended as it is popular. The owners and staff are lovely too and endeavour to make your visit a fantastic experience.

Set in a beautiful location, popular with cyclists and day trippers, I can see why. We went for lunch, and it was first class. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the service was prompt and efficient and the food was excellent. They also offer gluten free and vegan options. Which was why we chose the Whitebridge, as one of our party is gluten intolerant. I would definitely recommend, and will be going back!

Stayed for one night and it is a great hotel. Tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. The hotel welcomes dogs with the only restriction being in the restaurant where only breakfast was served Our room was a king size with everything one would need. Even had a chaise longue to relax on. The bar and restaurant were very good and the food was excellent. It is all reasonably priced and I would highly recommend.
