The Sands Hotel is run by an Island couple, aiming to make your stay a memorable one, not only at Sands, but the Island in general. The Sands Hotel occupies one of the most enviable positions, right on Sandown's seafront, just across the road from the golden sands of Sandown beach. The Sands is personally owned and managed by Lee and Shauna Morey, who live on the premises and ensure that your stay is to the highest standard of service as well as friendly and welcoming.Balcony rooms offer wonderful sea views all year round, along with beautiful sunrise and a moonlit sea at night.

Whatever the time of year the Sands Hotel has something for everyone. Take a stroll through the town, or explore further afield and discover the true beauty of the Island. Laze in our garden terrace or on the beach directly opposite the hotel and enjoy some of the best sunshine figures in the UK. Sandown is on the south-east coast of the Island.

Hello Lee and Shauna, Mum and I enjoyed our short stay in Sandown, and arrived back safely on Tuesday evening. Will probably visit again in the future. Just wanted to thank you and to say that your staff are a credit to you, all very helpful and pleasant. Dear Shauna and Lee Morey, I would rarely contact a hotel that I have stayed in but I would like to let you know that we had a wonderful stay, even though it was only two nights.

We offer great value for money and look after you as carefully and thoughtfully as our individual visitors. There are many attractions that are open throughout the year but please check winter opening times before visiting. There are so many attractions, places to visit and things to do on the Isle of Wight, more than what we could ever include on our website.

Absolutely disgusting my Nan is diabetic and she asked for a sandwich and got refused as hadn't got enough staff Bering in mind the place was not full. We even offered to pay as my nan had started to feel poorly. So wrong in many ways. Won't be coming back here

A lovely hotel with great entertainment and hosts. Rooms ok if you lucky enough to get a seaview with balcony. Ones at back of building dated and the size of a large cupboard with paper thin walls. Could hear every details of next doors conversation and their alarm at 6am!

Stayed for turkey and tinsel week on 29th November and it was fantastic, staff were amazing thru out our while stay, entertainment was great and the food was fantastic and all.home made too.looking forward to staying again soon, highly recommend

Been to the sands a few times now fantastic weekend away friendly staff great food and rooms and very clean I always come here for a long weekend in October for a 1.50 a drink weekend and always got good entertainment on the whole weekend

Just come home from a 4 day stay at the Sands Hotel Isle of Wight. Lovely Hotel and a credit to Shauna Lee, and the staff. Had a balcony room really comfy beds and great food. Will be back. Lovely beach areas and great places to visit.

Lovely, friendly staff and delicious breakfasts every morning. Clean and cosy rooms with key card access, rooms were serviced by the time we had finished breakfast! Great live entertainment every night, the beach right across the road and lots to do within walking distance, would highly recommend!

Shawna, Lee and the rest of the staff are the friendliest most helpful people in a hotel, I have ever experienced. Very reasonably priced, breakfast great. We had a balcony room with sea views too. Great ska/reggae DJ played 2 nights too We will be back
