I booked a stay at OYO in Hanskville Utah, which is a small town in the middle of nowhere. When I arrived the hotel had been destroyed by a flood and no one had informed me. I had nowhere to stay and had to drive 90 miles to the next town. The hotel told me they had no way of reaching me because I booked through a third party. I called hotels.com and yelled at them, they said the hotel didn't tell them and assured me I wouldn't be charged.
I was charged. When I called the hotel they said they had to confirm with the property, which was destroyed and didn't have a front desk. It took 2 weeks and a complaint through my credit card to fix it. How can you not know a property has been destroyed and funny how you can't tell me it was destroyed but can immediately charge me for the room as a no show!
I asked for a credit for a future stay for the hassle and got no response, but they did ask for a good review. HA. Obviously, there is no communication and horrible customer service. Avoid!

This hotel was destroyed in a flood - summer of 2021. That did not stop the people at hotel values.com from booking a 10/6/21 room and collecting the room rate plus 40% service fee. From the looks of the wreckage this hotel was already a dump. There were no alternate hotels within hours. The other (totally booked) local hotel told me that many others had have had this experience.
I spent a cold night in my car. I spent 30min on the phone with hotelvalues.com trying to resolve matters but got disconnected! I have turned this over to my credit company fraud department. DO NOT USE hotelvalues.com unless you have a tent and sleeping bag.

This motel is trying. We haven't had the issues the other reviewers have had. When you pull in, at night, it is dark and questionable looking. The office is an old room turned into an office. The guy who helped us said he'd just purchased it, and is remodeling. He was very friendly, the room is clean, and we are content with our decision for the night. Plus, it is a pet-friendly hotel so our four-legged child is curled up on her blanket. The price is a little high, but when you're in a town of 250 people with a dog, the choices are limited.

0 stars is what this place needs. I cancelled my stay months ago and weeks before my reservation and was told I was receiving a 100% refund. They still have not processed it 3 months later, and are now currently trying to get my banking information from Facebook messenger. what an absolute scam. Trash company.

Where can I start? This "Hotel" (if you can even call it that) is literally one of the worst places I've ever stayed in. The place Literally looks like one of those places horror movies are made off, We arrived to the property which was empty (1st warning sign we ignored) some random lady in a bathrobe and looking pretty messy came out of one of the rooms and told us that the check in clerk would he right with us. (Ok that was a first).
The "check in office" was literally inside one of the hotels broken down rooms and only had a laptop sitting on top of a broken down table that was probably taken from one of the rooms, a broken lamp that sat crooked for light and an old office chair that was busted. (2nd warning sign we ignored, at this point we felt like we had to stay there since we had already paid for the room before arriving and we were tired from our long drive from Denver).
The "clerk" told us the room was opened and the keys inside (ok). We went in and the windows wouldn't lock, they were also cracked. The faucet was broken and water shot all over the place when you turned it, the shower was also busted. The soap that was given by the staff was harder than my nipples on a winter's night. That's not all, when we sat on the bed, somehow the bottom part raised up in the air, causing the wife's and my legs to raise up into the air. Lol at this point all we could do is laugh and try to make the best of it. Did I mentioned the room smelled like chicken stock?
When we woke up the next morning from the little sleep I got keeping an eye out for any sort of intrusion the first thing I see when I look out the door was an old raggedy black dog taking his morning dump next to my car. The 1 star is as low as I can rate them and even that's too much. I can keep going but I will stop here, this place is HORRIBLE DO NOT STAY THERE.
We both came out sick with sore throats and with this pandemic we've both made doctor appointments to make sure everything's ok. Spend $10 extra dollars and avoid this place.
