Nice, clean and a good value for money hotel closer to the Hull city centre. We (2 adults and 3 kids), stayed at Mayfair Hotel last week for 2 nights and it was an extremely pleasant one. Steve had been very accommodating and helpful from the initial conversation until our check out. The room we stayed was spotless with clean carpet, towels and soft linen with comfortable beds.

The bathroom had amenities like shampoo & shower gel with good flow of hot water. Tea / coffee facilities and WiFi were also available in the room and the price included a complimentary daily continental breakfast which was pretty nice with a very good variety. The location is few bus stops from Hull interchange on the Beverly road and traveling is super convenient even if you don't have a car. We would definitely stay there next time too and thank you Steve and everyone at Mayfair Hotel. Keep up the good work!

I spent one night in this hotel and can honestly say that it's better than any Travel Lodge I've ever stayed at! You simply cannot beat a room that costs just 30 a night and includes a continental breakfast! The room itself was clean and had a decent size bathroom. The bed was super comfy and I had an excellent night's sleep. Met the owner the next morning and found him to be very friendly. Without question, I shall be staying here again.

Owner was genuinely nice and served breakfast. This is going back to my stay in 2015, but there are few areas this hotel could improve massively. I had my own shower and toilet. The room was dated yes, needed to look more pleasing on the eye. 1.) Relax the rules about who is allowed in the rooms in normal periods. I couldn't bring my friend up at the time because I was told it was for residents only.

They had to wait downstairs while I sorted my luggage out. 2.) Food I'd bought from Sainsbury's was thrown out by the cleaner. The area around is quite rough. Not the hotels fault so I can imagine why they'd want to enforce more stringent rules. However, with Travelodge and Premier inn not too far away they should look at improving certain areas.

The Bevvy opened in 2003 from being a bar only for hotel guests to opened to the public and is located in the every popular Beverley Road, close to Hull city centre, Princes Avenue and Newland Avenue. Also know as The Mayfair Hotel, the bevvy offers a variety of drinks, a large screen which shows all live sporting events and a disco with a DJ at the weekend.

The hotel is a furnished B&B with tea / coffee facilities and Sky TV, Most rooms offer en-suite. The fuction room Percivels is very popular for weddings and birthday parties and is accessed via the hotels main door. The Bevvy does have disabled access and an outdoor terrace which is perfect in summer. Not as popular as it use to be, however it is still a good night in here with a small dance floor if you wish to boogie on down to some of the old classics played by the DJ. The Bevvy also serves food throughout the day
