A warm and helpful welcome. Bed comfortable, bathroom ok. Dinner was excellent. Only fly in the ointment was a very noisy wedding, with guests not stopping shouting until the early hours of the morning.

We were very happy with the whole stay, the staff were so friendly and attentive and made our stay most pleasant. The food was great could not fault it. I would recommend the 6oz steak rare. The room was good, wasn't too over the top price wise and was good for what we paid and was fully equipped. The wreckers bar was brilliant, the cocktails we're good and the food during the day was great too.

While we were here I proposed to my now fiance, the staff congratulated us with a complementary desert. Would very much recommend this for any couples looking for nice getaway.

We had our Wedding at Leasowe Castle a couple of weeks ago and we cannot be happier with how our day went. From the start of our wedding journey (over 2 years ago due to the pandemic) the team at Leasowe have been amazing. They have been incredibly accommodating, friendly and professional. The castle is a gorgeous venue which we fell in love with as soon as we saw it.

The food is delicious, not just our wedding meal but we have eaten there a couple of times and found the food always to be fantastic. Thank you so much to you all for making our big day so perfect, we are over the moon we chose to get married at Leasowe Castle Hotel and would recommend to anyone looking for a wedding venue, a welcome break or a tasty meal. We had a 1 night stay in a top floor room. Stunning views. Staff excellent both on reception and in the restaurant. Lovely dinner but breakfast choice a bit limited.

Booked last minute for a well deserved short break. Its an old castle so expected the rustic interior. But very surprised at the high standard and decor of the room. But the real treat was when we dined in the restaurant, the food was of a standard you would expect in any high class restaurant. Hats off to the chef, talented and showen a passion to deliver excellence. A must go.

Service is great, can't fault the people at all, but the facilities are looking a bit dated and beds were uncomfortable. Bad weather isn't the hotel's fault and neither are single glazed windows because I assume the castle is listed but just know that the wind whistles through the frames and the extractor fans a bit when it's raining. The reception room at the front is beautiful with panelling but needs a bit of TLC and the suit of armour in the hallway makes for a fun selfie.

We stayed at the Leasowe Castle Hotel and also ate lunch and dinner here last week. All the staff are polite, friendly and courteous A special 'Shout-out' to Gill and Nicole at the Wreckers Bar & Lounge, who went out of their way to give us a warm welcome. We booked our dinner reservation at the Brasserie 1593, in advance online but we're told that since there weren't enough diners, it wouldn't be open.

I've visited several times over the years and this has happened to me on every occasion. Maybe I'm going at the wrong time of year Other than that, we had a fabulous time! This a beautifully restored historic building within walking distance of the coastline, beach and golf course. A lovely, relaxing stay was had by all

Absolutely stunning! From the castle itself to the grounds and the room were all stunning. On top of this the beach is across the golfing green. Such a beautiful castle with lots of history and lovely staff.

We booked a meal for my husbands 80th Birthday today, for 7 of us including 2 children. From start to finish it was amazing. The staff were so attentive but not over bearing. The food was of a very high standard and safe to say all plates were cleared! Would definitely recommend for any special occasion or just Sunday lunch. We will be returning very soon.

We had an excellent two-night stay. The room was very clean and comfortable, the bed a little bit firm, but also comfortable and the staff very friendly and courteous. Nothing was too much trouble. The food and drink in the restaurant and the bar were very good, if a little bit pricey, but only what one would expect in this class of hotel. The cooked breakfast was particularly good and the service was excellent. We had a really relaxing break and will definitely stay there again when next visiting the Wirral next year.

Don't get me wrong the building is beautiful. there are some parts that need renovating but for me it adds to the charm. The actual rooms are a great standard especially the bathrooms. down side is the food is expensive and not great.the price of a pint is ridiculous.over a fiver. and the views are not great. ideal for travelling work but I would not stay as a holiday. the staff were helpful

Although the staff were lovely some parts of the hotel were really shabby such as stairwell and the very small lift. The room I had on the 4th floor had very low water pressure meaning a shower was almost impossible. On the positive side the lounge was a wonderful room, full of character unlike the rather drab bar. The dining room was also very nice and the food very good.

Went for a friend's wedding. Seemed like a nice enough place with a distinctive style. Rooms looked comfortable, clean and tidy, and were an ok size. Wedding room was nicely laid out and a decent size, and could seat about a hundred at a guess. Staff at the hotel were very helpful, polite and attentive, and made good efforts to have the wedding go smoothly. Unfortunately, there were two issues that marred the wedding, the sound system went bad during the first dance, and when the meal was served it turned out the chicken was undercooked and had to be recalled, with people going round grabbing it from guests plates. Otherwise it seemed like a nice enough place, with a lift for access to the upper floors, decent toilets, good size car park and easy access

I met with some friends for coffee who had stayed overnight. Great place, beautiful location, and such friendly and helpful staff. Perfect then for a stroll along the beach if you need some fresh air, or to walk off your food! 5* hygiene rating. Love it

Came here for my birthday and was everything I expected and more! When we first arrived all the staff were very friends and helpful, when checking in we got told that they had upgraded our standard room to a suit as it was my birthday which was very thoughtful! The room was perfect! Thank you so much we will definitely be retuning in the future!

We have just returned from a 4 night stay at Leasowe castle.the accommodation was 1st class, the food was amazing, you had to wait a little while, but believe me it was well worth the wait cannot fault the. hotel, I would recommend to anyone, the staff are brilliant any problems they will soon sort it out. I would score it 10 out of 10. Thank you so much for our lovely holiday.

Absolutely stunning hotel and wedding venue! And so so so accommodating! We cannot thank the staff at Leasowe Castle enough for what they did for us at the weekend (and of course, the last few months) by helping us organise our wedding in 2 days when we had to bring it forward a week due to the current situation! A huge thank you to Cheryl for. everything she has done for us, she is incredible and anyone looking to get married, you will not be disappointed one bit to work with Cheryl and the rest of the staff.

A special mention to Jordan on reception; he has, from the first day we visited the castle, been absolutely amazing to us. Nothing is too much for all the staff and even in the current troubles that are being faced, they all have smiles on their faces and will do anything to help their guests. Absolutely superb and me and my new wife cannot thank the castle and it's staff enough for hosting and providing us with the most perfect wedding day thank you!

Fantastic staff, Daniel served us this evening very nice there was stuff that wasn't on the menu like mocktails and milkshakes for the kids while we had cocktails he made for us, great member of staff made our evening lovely for my husband birthday, food was delicious too kids had mains with us and ate every bit, so tasty and fresh and best of all was 40 off our bill for the eat out, Definitely come here again even without money off

They are a disgrace to the hospitality business. The government have told you to close you can't even do that in this time of crisis and help people who have booked a wedding or party with you.give them their money back or postpone. If anyone in the wedding party's of yesterday contract this virus I hold Leasowe castle responsible. Absolute disgrace to the Wirral.

Visited yesterday to celebrate my parent's 59th wedding anniversary with a Prosecco Afternoon Tea in the beautiful "Star Chamber". The staff were lovely, professional and very attentive (think it was Abbey, Caitlin and Nathan)

I would just like to thank Leasowe Castle for everything they did for our amazing wedding back in September! From day one with Cheryl and Jaime to the day with Lori. Both Cheryl and Jaime were always there for us to talk too. Helping us through every step of our day making sure we got everything we wanted and needed in the build up to our day. We stayed the night before and between all the staff present they made us feel so welcome and so at ease with our nerves.

We met Lori the night before who was our saviour on the day, at any second we needed her on the morning of our wedding she was there in a shot, anything we wanted or needed she got us. The food was outstanding and everything went so smoothly we can't thank you enough. All the staff involved in our wedding at Leasowe Castle were amazing we wanted for nothing! Thank you all at Leasowe Castle for making sure our day was as special as it was!

Can't imagine a worse nights stay, and it hasn't even ended yet. Arrived and could barely get a parking place, let alone get in the front entrance due to a wedding party. That's fine we will sneak past everyone and try to hear our check in instructions over the yelling guests behind us. That's fine too. We go to our room without our luggage to give them time to do their thing, it is a wedding after all.

Get our bags at 9:30 pm and still have to sneak through the wedding party. Okay. In our room and it's now 12:48 am and all we've been able to hear is base and loud music/wedding party. The room we are connected to also seems to have loud guests that come and go slamming the door behind them, shaking the walls. We can literally hear their voices from our bed as well. After driving from London today all we wanted was one night of peace and to get a good nights rest. This has been a complete nightmare.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We were visiting from the US and wanted to stay in a castle. Prices were affordable. Meals were a bit pricy but I love that they offered a Tea Time (for a price of course). The hotel had free parking, beach views, and really friendly staff. Rooms were warm and spacious. Some decor was a little dated but it didn't take away from the charm.
