The hotel itself is good, but it is very disorganised. Breakfast was a complete shambles. Shown to a table and just left there with no information that it was a self service buffet! They ran out of eggs, bacon, sausages, coffee and cups. Nobody seemed surprised or bothered and there was no sense of urgency to resolve a situation that was deteriorating by the minute.
It was also very obvious that a lot of the staff didn't want to be there, some of them even complaining to guests! When checking out, we told them of the problems which was met with complete indifference. Not somewhere I would return to.

The hotel is in beautiful grounds and a beautiful panaramic vista over the golf course. Praise for chefs fish and chips on Tuesday. I would like to say Phylis is an asset to your hotel, she always has a smile and has a happy disposition also Alex and Emmie were very attentive and customer focused. Regards Rob and Jo Lawlor.

Amazing hotel and grounds, the spa and leisure facilities are the best I've ever had the pleasure of using. Had to pay 1pound for a towel in the leisure area though so I'd recommend taking one from your room if your staying. In the rooms the space was great, plenty of it and the beds comfy.the bathroom though, the toilet constantly flushed itself if you didn't wiggle the handle alot after flushing and the shower seemed to have no pressure at all, very poor shower in the room unfortunately. Would definitely stay here again though

We booked in for Mothers Day and was really looking forward to visiting. Firstly the room we were seated was very drab and tired it looked as if random tables had been placed in a room without any care or attention to detail, it was not what I would consider to be a nice warm dining experience. The service was incredibly slow and robotic, the staff looked like they didn't want to be there and maybe the quality of the food matched the quality of the staff.
The Sunday dinner on offer looked promising when reading the menu however on delivery to the table I thought it was a joke when the dinners came out, The roast pork was not roast pork it was bacon medallions served with the jelly like fat rather than being rendered to crisp it up a little. The roast potatoes where awful just a soggy potato left to soak in fat.
The Vegetable's where raw and under cooked the gravy was non existent and the parsnips where soggy and atrocious. Usually we visit the coach house in Humberston for lunches but we thought we would try Kenwick as the menu sounded nice. I couldn't have been more disappointed. Save your fuel money do not travel here for a soggy, dry and tasteless Sunday dinner. Disgraceful!

The location and room we stayed in was fabulous. Not only celebrating our anniversary we attended a friends wedding. Arrival was shocking staff messed up my husband surprise he had planned for me and then laughed about it. Sign on desk saying cashless yet isn't advertised prior to arrival or on the website. Asked the receptionist about it and was informed that it was in your welcome email. when we get the update I will let you know.
Our friends getting married hadn't even been made aware it was cashless. We had one bath towel and one hand towel in the room on arrival, requested more but just to let you know in the bathroom there's cobwebs you need to remove. Staff don't really know what is going on very disorganised. Staffing for a wedding reception was poor. One person on the bar and also trying to take orders for the restaurant till other staff arrived.
Breakfast time asked for a table for 2 and sat us on a table for 6, the waitress then put another family of 4 on the same table as us - not even knowing who they were. We then moved to another table with some disgust we moved from the staff. Why you think it's acceptable to do that is beyond me! Food was faultless, but young staff are not trained very well in hospitality skills. Smiling would be a bonus. Walking through the corridor and other rooms smelt of smoke and other recreational smells. Staff banging through doors when cleaning on a Sunday morning always a delight. Location is beautiful though. Sorry Kenwick you really need to up your game.

Really a great weekend out in Keswick woods, such a lovely atmosphere, lovely lodge and clean, staff amazing, a real home from home. the only down side was we new to book for dinner the next day and when my hubby went to the office he was told he does not need to prebook and we can just come when we are ready. When we went the following day to our surprise we were refused dinner as was told we should have prebooked.
Staff training utmost needed as we were gutted with 3kids as they were looking forward to this. That just spoilt the whole thing as shops or restaurants were miles and miles away. So pls if you are going prebook dinner and hopefully it will all be nice for ya

I had trouble booking. Left messages, no one returned my calls. As I had been given vouchers I had to use them. I eventually got through on the phone and specified the treatment I wanted. When I went into the therapy room the therapist told me I was having something different. I queried it and she said it was part of the package I had booked. There was nothing in the brochure to indicate this. The therapist was lovely and I did enjoy the treatment despite that.

I would off given no star if this was possible, we had booked a lodge for a night with at kenwick and wanted to have treatment s at the spa the next day. Myself, my nice and my sister in law have been trying for over 4 weeks to get hold of evergreen spa and had no look! I spoke to 2 different people at kenwick who said the have this all day people complaining that they can't make booking they both email over to the spa asking for someone to contact me no one did.
I also rang and got through to the Head office as no one answered who also again email 2 weeks on I am still waiting a response about booking treatment. This is really the worst communication and unprofessional spa I've ever tired to book. I've cancelled my lodge now through booking.com and have re-booked forest pines.

A really lovely place, i had a facial which was very well carried out but no consultation about my skin, no after product service nothing! Afternoon tea was nice, we never got offered any water like other tables did around us, my friend and i chatted for a further hour and our table wasn't cleared, and rather dirty with crumbs around our table, overall an enjoyable day.
