Started with a very warm welcome and the exemplary standard was maintained for the length of our stay. Spotlessly clean throughout, we had a lovely room which was well equipped, Great breakfast, nice bar facilities, it was really impossible to fault. Karen and Steve really are excellent hosts and have done a great job with some lovely touches. Will definitely be back.

We had a warm welcome on arrival. Steve and Karen are lovely. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they recommended places for us to visit and places to eat while we were there. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the breakfast was yummy. We Would definitely stay again if in scarborough and have already told friends and family about headlands hotel. Thanks again Steve and Karen and keep up the good work.

Brilliant small hotel with lovely en-suite bedrooms. Our bedroom had a fantastic, newly refurbished bathroom. The shower was great! Delicious breakfast, well stocked bar and fantastic hosts. Excellent value for money and great location close to North Bay and east hop on a bus to the town, or short drive. Would thoroughly recommend.

A really welcoming hotel with friendly, professional hosts. Everywhere was spotlessly clean with some wonderful, quirky decor! We particularly liked the 'Gone but not forgotten carpet - an idea we shall copy as soon as the similar carpet in our 'new' house has 'gone'! Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean and with good views to the coast and the castle.
The bathroom was excellent with a luxurious shower. Breakfast was delicious and served with a smile. There was plenty to choose from. We were unable to take advantage of the evening menu, as we were meeting friends. If we ever visit Scarborough again, the Headlands would be our hotel of choice. There was plenty of on-street parking and we were able to park directly outside the hotel on each evening.

A wonderful, small hotel run by a lovely couple, who are friendly and welcoming. Rooms are spacious with plenty of storage with fab modern bathrooms. A lovely bar with a fab atmosphere in the evening - tasty small evening menu and great breakfasts in the morning served by the lovely Angela. Can't say one bad thing about the hosts or the hotel. Worth 5 stars, next time we visit Scarborough we wouldn't stay anywhere else now.

Room 11 Nice clean room and was plenty of space with a sofa with tv We were there 21st to 24th Sept and food was really good. Angela very pleasant lady doing the serving of lovely breakfast. Nothing was any trouble for Steve and Karen if you wanted something. Parking was good. Lovely lounge for evening.

Had a 3 night stay couldn't have been made more welcome by Karen and Steve. The room was spotless and comfortable. Breakfast was very well organised and filling poached eggs were cooked to perfection. The bar was spacious and comfortable with plenty of board games etc to keep children entertain. Ideal location for the open air theatre and peasome Park. Would definitely return and recommend.

This is a wonderful hotel with clean, modern rooms. We felt very safe during our stay as covid precautions are in place. There is a lovely bar and lounge area, where you can enjoy a drink between 5.30pm and 10.30pm. The breakfasts were excellent and offered a variety of choices, including vegetarian options. I can recommend the pancakes! Thank you Steve and Karen for your warm welcome. If we come back to Scarborough, we will definitely stay in this hotel again!

Steve and Karen are exceptional. They welcome you into their hotel with warmth and friendliness. Steve is so helpful with giving guidance and recommendations to good restaurants and eating places. The rooms are outstanding, modern, warm and immaculately clean. The bar area has a relaxing ambiance about it, soft lighting, music and Steve and Karen's company.
You are served an excellent breakfast which is served by Angela, who is always smiling and very friendly. A comfortable, clean and homely hotel with all the covid precautions in place. Great bar and lounge area for a relaxing drink anytime between 5.30pm and 10.30pm. Nice tasty breakfast with plenty of choice. Lovely bedrooms and decor throughout the hotel. Plenty of free on street parking around the hotel plus parking for approximately 6 cars in the grounds at the back of the hotel. Steve and Karen are very welcoming and knowledgeable of Scarborough having lived there all their lives. All in all a great place and one that we would love to visit again in the near future.
