Firstly the house is beautiful but the hosts are also excellent and friendly. We were given a tour of the building on arrival and offered a hot drink with a cream scone. The room was large and immaculate with a comfy bed. The breakfast was delicious and had a huge range of food and drinks. We loved our stay here and cannot wait to come back soon

Beautiful guest house which is run to an excellent standard. It is characterful and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. We have a lodge nearby and stayed at Marton Grange to make room for our family to come to stay in the lodge. We will certainly be staying there again and will also recommend to all our family and friends who come to visit us. Thank you for a lovely stay. Kevin and Bev H

Oh wow. Lovely location, lovely building, absolutely immaculate room and bathroom. All the facilities were lovely and decorated like a well cared for traditional country b & b. The team who ran the b and b were welcoming, kind, friendly and clearly very hard working. We all had 3 rooms and really didn't want to leave. Ive never experienced a b&b before and my experience is that I would 100% now choose this over hotels.

It was so comfortable and you really feel that the team who run this gorgeous b & b care for every guest, even if you just stay 1 night. The breakfast in the morning was absolutely lovely and the welcome scones were superb too.

What a wonderful place to find! The shame was they could only accomodate us for two nights, not long enough! The room was lovely had everything we wanted plus two easy chairs for relaxing with TV, an excellent tea tray too. The bathroom was spacious with a large shower which unlike many others was easy to operate. All the public rooms we saw were beautifully and tastefully decorated, superb garden.

The breakfast set you up for the day, menu very extensive with everything you could desire. Perfectly situated for sightseeing, in the short time we were there we didn't travel further than 12 miles to find something of interest, still so much to explore! Very highly recommended. Oh yes, and covid safety was paramount.

I was visiting the area for a wedding and only stayed for one night could have happily stayed longer. Upon arrival I was greeted by a friendly member of staff who allowed me to check in early. The room was clean and modern and the rate was cheaper than others in the area. The building looks great and has free parking.

We (my wife and I) stayed I n August 2021. Lots of positive and very few negatives, and only minor ones at that. We were in room 2 which overlooks the front of the house and the passing road (not a particularly busy road but some traffic noise). The room was lovely, decorated in the style of the house and spotlessly clean. A lovely bathroom (shower only, no bath) also spotlessly clean.

Upon arrival we were greeted by Andrew who gave us a quick tour and explained things like the door locks before he took us up to the room. We then went down to the lovely gardens where we enjoyed complimentary scones and tea / coffee. We stopped two nights and enjoyed wonderful breakfast on both days where you are presented with a good array of options including the normal options as well as some less usual ones (try the cheese bread with scrambled eggs and bacon).

Would we most definitely stop here again and would highly recommend it to anyone. Just to mention those little negatives, parking is a little tight but that said there seems to be ample parking in the 'layby' in front of the property if the car park is full and there is also a dedicated disabled space should you need it. The other little issue was the size of the bath towels which were a little on the small size, larger bath sheets would be a little bit nicer. All in all a lovely place to stay and thank you for your great hospitality.
