Goldstone Hall Today, Goldstone Hall is a three star country house hotel with a couple of rosettes for its culinary comforts. Under the affable gaze of John Cushing and his family, you may enjoy the quiet, relaxed and stimulating atmosphere of one of the best hotels in Shropshire. And probably more than once. The twelve double bedrooms are all en suite and most have an extra shower in the bathroom.

Absolutely amazing place to visit. After a recent tour and sit down with Sue to discuss our plans to hold our wedding here, we ended up booking. Sue was very accomodating, welcoming and thorough. Last week we took our mum's for afternoon tea here and enjoyed it very much I recommend this place to anyone who is thinking about it. You will have to call to book. I have to add, the ladies were impeccable

Beautiful room with a roaring log fire. What more could you ask for? Nice selection of sandwiches, savouries and cakes. Loved the black pudding sausage rolls.

We celebrated our wedding at Goldstone Hall on New Years Eve and we recommend Goldstone enough! It was truly amazing and is such a fantastic Wedding venue. The entire team worked tirelessly to make sure our special day was perfect. The Cushing family were amazing from start to finish and a very special thank you to Katie who really went the extra mile.

The food was absolutely outstanding and the level of service was first class. Our guests fell in love with the charm of the place which we always knew was inevitable! Thank you so much for making the day so stress free and enjoyable! We want to do it all again!

A real treat. We went for lunch. Great setting, great food and great service. The lady working front of house and dining room was impressive and enhanced the visit. Definately recommended.

Visited for a wedding which was wonderful. Our room was very spacious and comfortable, overlooking beautiful gardens. Great breakfasts and my evening meal was one of the best I've had in ages. All of the staff were polite, friendly and helpful, even when they were rushing around to serve wedding guests.

What a special place fantastic food well presented and served. All the staff know there jobs and the food and drink they serve. We started eating at 19:00 left at 23:00 hrs. It's not cheap but great for that special occasion

Attended wedding reception, lovely place and the grounds are stunning. Had a double room which was huge, bed was super comfy and the bathroom/shower was great. Down side was it was right on the stairway so was noisy when others were going to bed. Service was a bit slow but down to losing staff during lock down so can be forgiven and didn't spoil the overall experience.

An amazing overnight stay at this wonderful hotel. Delayed from my January birthday due to Covid restrictions. We have had many visits to this hotel over the years and over the covid lockdowns have enjoyed a delivered meal most weeks. We booked and hoped that we could celebrate my birthday in January but this was delayed until early June. We could not have been treated or received better had we been royalty.

A pre dinner tour of the gardens with John, who is incredibly knowledgeable about the plants and plans and how it has all developed over the years was the highlight of our evening until we were served our taster meal, which lasted about 2.5 hrs but for 7 courses was perfect. The food was excellent and the choice of wine extremely difficult due to the extensive choices a available! Already trying to work out when we can come again, despite living so close. Luckily we still have Sunday lunch to look forward to. Thank you so much John, Sue and team.

Lovely room and grounds, beautiful food and great service. I don't usually travel alone, so I very much appreciated the relaxing time and staff who were quietly attentive. I would highly recommend a walk round the gardens: amazing flowers and veg and friendly gardeners. Will definitely be returning!

Absolutely outstanding food in a great location. The "boardroom" has a fire and can accommodate about 12-15 people comfortably. There are extensive gardens in the grounds as well as ample parking. The bar only has a few beers but they also have an wide selection of wines. Parts of the building date back to the 13th century.

We went to a family wedding here recently and had the pleasure of staying over night. It's a beautiful, old building, tastefully decorated and furnished inside, set in picturesque surroundings. The rooms are spacious, the beds are huge, as are the flat screen TV's and the en-suites are just heaven. The only down-side is the rooms get really hot and you need the fan on constantly.
