This beautiful property has to be the loveliest in the Loch Ness area and is available at a very reasonable price. The main house features a library, a lounge complete with log-burning fireplace and ample seating, a full bar, and an exceptional restaurant. Our room looked brand new and surely had been professionally decorated. It offered a refrigerator, a coffee and tea making station, a huge bright bathroom with a tub/shower, and a stunning view of a misty loch.
The breakfast was delicious and came hot from the kitchen to our table. The lamb dinner I ordered one night was outstanding! We thoroughly enjoyed the lady who acted as our hostess and bartender.

Stayed here for the last week in one of the bungalows in the grounds of the hotel. Lovely and clean and if your driving it's a great place to use as a Base for visiting anywhere from Skye Fort William, Nairn, Inverness and all surrounding districts. We kept mostly to ourselves but one evening my husband and I went down to try the hotel bar but did not see anyone to order a drink so went back after about 15 mins. Other than this the people we spoke to were very friendly and helpful.

The Hotel is a lovely country style traditional Hotel, in a beautiful location overlooking Loch Meikle, and the mountains beyond. There is a new chef here called Paul Clark, he is a very experienced brilliant chef, award winning and cooks some amazing unique dishes, part of his training was done in Italy and it shows with his high standard creations and delicious food, made with fresh ingredients, well presented and an experience you will never forget.

Had rented a cottage and a double room which were excellent and very well kept with all the need facilities. We also had dinner and breakfast in the hotel there and it was brilliant. Extremely delicious. The hosts were very polite and gracious. The location was wonderful as well as we could see the loch and the forest from our rooms.

We were the only guests there for our 5 day stay. Room was lovely and the view fantastic. Staff and owners were friendly and made for great conversation. Food was amazing also, obviously prior to previous reviews, we tried everything. Would recommend the Steak, Lamb, Duck and Haggis. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

What a bad wretched hotel for so much money (115 pounds a night) The hotel was very old and run down, towels were broken and frayed The bed was too short and too small, and the bedside lamps did not work But the worst thing of all was that there were stuffed animal everywhere (including in the rooms) if you miss them, I've thrown in the closet. a hotel is not a playground! at breakfast there was HP sauce and it was a little over date 2013 now its 2016 PS The HP saus was al lite over date 2013 ( Now its 2016)
