A wee birthday cocktail at a lovely quaint and well run hotel. Staff friendly and efficient. The View along the Riverside was lovely and we could even hear the Cathedral Bells other side of the River. Highly recommend to chill sitting in the sun.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Breakfast was superb and the staff were very friendly and obliging. We were impressed with the shower in the bathroom and the bed was very comfortable. The location is great and we would gladly stay here again.

We booked a trip away for my 65th birthday and chose the Glenmoriston. Our room was huge and immaculately clean. The restaurant and bar served amazing food but most importantly all the staff were fabulous, special thanks to Kay who was so attentive, nothing was too much bother for her. Would recommend this hotel without any any hesitation, we will certainly be back.

Had a great 3 night stay. Room was large and comfortable, overlooking the River Ness. Breakfast was tasty. The bar has an extensive selection of whisky and the bar menu food was delicious. Easy walk to downtown and along the river.

This place was highly rated by others but the room 15 we stayed in for sure avoid. It is essentially an attic and unfinished. You hit your head in and out of bed. You hit hit your head in and out of the luggage rack. The window was broken. There is old furniture. The room has to be locked from the inside with a key. There is hardly any outlets to use and none in the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and beautiful river view so two stars.

We stayed in one of the apartments here and it was excellent. Very comfortable, and with all the amenities you would expect. A well appointed kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, cooker, etc. the bedrooms are comfy and spacious, and the living room is really nice too. Overall, good value for money and would definitely stay again.

This place is absolutely amazing. We stayed in Apartments 2 &3, newly remodeled and had everything thing you would need. Beds were comfortable and everything in the apartment worked. The restaurant serves an amazing breakfast each morning and the bar was ver nice too with plenty of Scotches to try. The town and city center is about a 3-5 minute walk away along the River Ness bank.

Plenty of sight seeing to be don on foot. The Inverness Castle is about a 4-5 minute walk from the townhouse. The airlines had lost our luggage the hotel staff was very helpful in getting it retrieved. We will do sure come again and stay here.

We stayed in December and the (only) radiator in the room was only lukewarm, so the room was cold during the day and very cold at night. There was no heating whatsoever in the bathroom, not even a heated towel rack, so the bathroom was freezing cold the whole time. The room price wasn't too bad but their restaurant prices are ridiculous - there are other restaurants close by that are just as nice at much better prices.

Nice hotel unfortunately the room was cold and bathroom needed a good clean. View from room of the river beautiful and access to town great only 10 minutes away. Would definitely check state of room before agreeing to stay if I went back. Pity as bedroom was great bar temperature. Radiators located behind long curtains didn't help.

Booked a club room and was disappointed. The room itself was clean but rather cold even with the heating on full. The shower room was tiny, there was nowhere to put soap bags etc. Being an older building I thought it would be well insulated, how wrong i was. No alarm clock required. Expect noise in the evening when people are arriving etc but at 5am wide awake as person in next room was up and about. On the upside breakfast was lovely.

We stayed here as the last stop on our NC500 trip and booked it after reviewing the hotels on the NC500 website. it did not disappoint! The room we had was good, spacious, clean and well appointed and looked out over the river. The restaurant was a revelation with a fantastic menu that fused Asian flavours with local fish and meat. Highly recommended. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout and we would definitely stay here again.

Very conscientious re covid. Great situation by the river and easy access to town centre. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Had a very pleasant stay, great location on the of verge of the city centre at river front. Room nice and clean, good size bathroom and shower was good, did lack a drink cooling facility but ice was available via room service. Nice cooked Scottish breakfast, however continental option fell a bit short. The breakfast was included in price, courtesy of booking direct with hotel.

Staff were pleasant and helpful when required. Drinks were reasonable and in line with normal hotel prices, though cocktails were a bit pricey. Nice riverside walks and fun crazy golf activity centre nearby. Will definitely use this hotel again if in area.

We stayed here two nights with our tour group. Our corner room which was quite spacious was in the Windsor annex just a short walk across the car park. There are no lifts and no AC. We kept our windows open and used the fan. Our bed was quite firm and the pillows were flat. We were only in our room to shower and sleep. Breakfast was included but service was slow.

The first morning, we were told that something was wrong with the stove. The food was good overall. We didn't eat lunch or dinner there because after looking at the menu, choices were limited and expensive. There's s nice bar and outdoor seating area. Hotel is in a lovely location and that is clearly what you are paying for.

I absolutely loved my stay in this hotel. It's right on the bank of the Ness River and just a few miles from Loch Ness. The hotel is beautiful, clean, friendly and reasonably priced. The bartender, Kevin, made our stay even better. He is a walking encyclopedia in whiskey and it was a joy talking to him. Kevin is a major asset to this place. The night time walks near the river and across the bridges are amazing. This was the best hotel I stayed in during my UK travels. I would absolutely stay there again.

Whomever took the photos for the website deserves a star! Beware of the place that doesn't show a photo of the OUTSIDE, having seen this photo I would have said, "no thank you"! This is a refurbished house-motel, with add-ons everywhere. It is not a Town House. It is not a Hotel. It is not 4 star if you are of American standards. We arrived at 2 pm and were "greeted" by a grumpy twenty-something who ONLY said to us upon entering the "lobby"."put your luggage in that room down the hall and come back after 4 pm, that's when check-in is'! Oh, then she interrupted us to ask if we wanted to reserve a table for dinner. NO and NO!

The room; It is clean. It has nicely appointed drapery and quilts and a small flat screen TV. It has a nice location. The full size mattress - NOT a queen, nor a box spring, JUST a mattress - was fashioned over a few 4x4 boards on top of a wrought iron child's bed frame (my husband is 5'10" and his feet hung over the end!). THE most uncomfortable bed ever.

The shower was a plastic walk-in shower that was too small for me (I'm 5'!). The walls were sloped and too imposing even for us. NONE of this was explained to us. The room was above their piano-bar where few people visited, expect for the local drunks each night. They conveniently hung out until 4 AM talking and keeping us awake. Sure, there is security.except they are hanging out with the drunks.

We didn't give this nasty place any additional business or money. Upon check-out, the nasty girls mother.chewing her toast and glaring at us with her bright red hair made a big deal when my husband asked for a receipt for the stay. Really? Receipts are customary. Mind you, neither of these women welcomed us with a "hello", or "welcome". They certainly didn't ask how the stay was either. Nasty to the core.

We were charged 144 BPS per night! What a rip-off! When we returned I sent a copy of this review.never received a response. They know this place is not as advertised. Now, so do you!

This was a very nice quaint hotel on the River Ness. It was within walking distance of the downtown \/ city centre (5 min leisure stroll) but far enough away to not be disturbed by the pubs etc. The room while on the small side but very comfortable and well decorated. The staff was helpful and curteous during the entire visit. Breakfast at Contrast Brasserie was included in our room and was excellent.

There was a buffet with fruit, cereal\, etc and then we also had the option to order hot food including a traditional Scottish Breakfast. Overall a great place to stay and in a beautiful setting right on the River Ness.
