Amzing service and excellent food. The staff are friendly and very down to earth. The rooms are comfy, clean and tidy. The management are very hands on and help their colleagues with the work, which is always nice to see. Would highly recommend staying here and we will no doubt be back in future. P.s. a big thank you to all the staff for making my wife's birthday

We had our wedding here on 14th August 2021. Amazing from start to finish! The night before we had a beautiful family meal in the restaurant, everybody enjoyed their meal! Myself, the bridesmaids and my parents all stayed at the lodge the night before too, the rooms were clean and perfect for our stay. The wedding was perfect! They have beautiful scenery in the gardens perfect for the backdrop of our wedding photos.
We all enjoyed another beautiful three course meal with an amazing buffet in the evening. Myself and my husband shared the bridal suite the night of the wedding which over looks them beautiful gardens and was lovely! Compliments to all the staff at East Ayton Lodge, we honestly had the best day ever and it was all we ever wanted and more. Personal shout out to Jeannie, what a woman!
She was there at every beck and call I had with the run up to the wedding and she was there to ensure our day was just perfect. Could not of done it without her! We cannot wait to return to the lodge! Thank you so much!

Great value accommodation, lovely friendly and helpful staff. Food was excellent, both breakfast and evening meals. Bonus to stay and eat in the restaurant, without having to leave dogs in the car. Weather was nice enough to enjoy drinks in the gardens. Great location, with easy local dog walks, as well as access to local attractions. Quiet, and tucked away from any busy roads.

Lovely hotel in a great location close to many places, Whitby, Robin Hood's Bay, Scarborough etc. Room was nice and clean and well presented. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Food was lovely but not much choice for me personally as a bit fussy. The only thing that let this down was I was in a ground floor room and the people in the room above me constantly moved around in there room and my first night I got around 4hrs sleep as I heard them move about for hours, starting again about 430am, 1st night 215 am 2nd night this ruined my stay totally. I would stay again but I would insist on an upstairs room.
