Within walking distance of all amenities, Great place to stay. The host is a very friendly guy who goes out of his way to make you welcome/comfortable.

I had a good time when staying here, secure, friendly owner, not far from city centre, clean rooms, good prices.

I booked this guest house through booking.com for a 2 night stay after comparing reviews, prices, location etc with other establishments in the Sheffield area. I arrived earlier than the check in time, called through in advance to check if this would be ok. The very pleasant and professional owner assured me this would not be an issue, he greeted me upon arrival with the same enthusiastic professional courtesy.

I was assured from that moment my stay would be comfortable and no problem would be too big for this fantastically welcoming host. The place is decorated in neutral colours and completely spotless, like it has been redecorated very recently. I have a very keen sense of smell and can assure you the place is completely odourless other than the light air freshener smell coming through the entrance hallway.

I had fresh milk brought up to my room without the need to request. The room was again spotless and decorated to a good standard, the facilities were fantastic and I had no issues whatsoever streaming videos through wi-fi or making video calls for meetings I had scheduled the following day. The bathroom was bright, airy and not a thing out of place.

There was no dust whatsoever and the hot powerful shower felt fantastic after my early morning 5k run around the beautiful and scenic area surrounding the guest house. Yes I did have to pay additional for the evening meal and breakfast but after tasting the beautiful traditional Bengali food it was a small price to pay for such delicious food. I hardly saw or heard the other guests during my 2 night stay, when I did they seemed to be contractors and business people who were polite and courteous as is to be expected. Thank you so much for having me and I will definitely be booking again. Fantastic job, keep up the good work!

A lovely host, but the place needs both maintenance work and a good clean. Lovely communicable bathroom. Not convinced that bed sheet were clean. We stayed in the larger room. The place did what we needed a place to sleep.

This place has two key qualities - character and friendliness. Its the complete opposite of places like Travelodge- and its massively better value. Will def be staying here again!

Welcomed like family, very basic accommodation but also very cheep so no complaints, also got to meet their friendly cockatoo and feed it grapes felt at home here.

We were a bit wary about staying here as it was a bit of a distance from where we were meeting with our friends. But we were overwhelmed with how friendly the host was. He did everything to make us feel comfortable. The room was very clean and spacious for our needs. It was perfect and just what we needed and we will definitely be returning. Hats off to the host he went out of his way to make our stay pleasant.

Pros: Close to city centre. Free on-street parking. Very friendly staff. Clean shared bathroom. Cons: bed sheets were not clean, though clean sheets were provided upon request. Spider webs and mould in the room. Stained walls, definitely need repainting.

DIRTY FILTHY PLACE! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! The bed sheets have not been washed! ( in my opinion for weeks! ) And I'm not joking! Genuinely I found yellow staines on the pillow cases the bedding smell of other people, the hand towl next to the basin was also un-washed, the cups for tea and coffee had old dirt around the base, coffee Mark's around the top!

The bedroom and bathroom are FILTHY and uncleaned, Green mould on the inside of the bathroom, and a flattened cardboard box would have been better to sleep on than the fold out bed! Horrific experience!

To be honest this a guest house or as contractors would say a reasonable priced digs. Don't expect anything fancy it does was it supposed to do and that is provide a cheap room to sleep. The owner is very friendly and welcoming. There are two wash rooms one a showeroom on the ground floor and a bathroom upstairs with toilet and over bath shower. Breakfast is not included on the tarrif I had so can't comment on that. Overall I was happy with what had for that night, so no complaints.
