Accommodation ok which is more than I can say for the food. Arrived as part of a coach party and was given a voucher for evening meal - pasta bolognese or pollok and chips. Pasta overcooked and soggy and bolognese spicy, looked like someone had been sick on the plate. Fish, don't know what it was cooked in but certainly not batter, if it was didn't look or taste like it. Chips probably cooked more than once as they were very hard. Starters not very appetising, tomato soup or Chinese spring rolls, strange offering probably left over from another meal.

Girl behind the bar very nice but shouldn't have been working behind the bar. Asked for J2O, in a glass with ice, she filled it to the brim and asked if I wanted the rest, left in the bottle. i said yes and she was about to try and put more the the glass. I told her that no more would fit in, she said she could take some ice out but another member of staff, poured it into another glass. Breakfast - bacon, eggs, beans and sausage lukewarm. Croissants rock hard.

We went down at 6 30 for tea. I asked for beef bolegnese. It was cooked too long and too spicy. Didn't eat it at all. The fish was chewy and batter very hard. Chips had been cooked what seems to be alot. Absolutley disgusting. However there was a nice girl at the bar. The pillows were very uncomfertable, my side light next to bed was missing and very loud air vent. Loudest one I have ever heard actually. I will be having breakfast at about 7am so hopefully that is better if not I will be speaking to the chef or the owner of this place.

Nice place, stayed 2 nights. My only problem was at breakfast when I had to wait for the coffee machine because a member of staff slid in front of me to get coffee as I got to the machine and when I turned round to check my children another staff member pushed in front of me for coffee. I was the only one waiting.

Friendly helpful staff. Bed was a bit small but room was clean and comfortable. Good shower. Breakfast was a big disapointment, overcooked and very little choice. No choice of eggs or tomatoes or mushrooms. Food was dried out and tasteless. The alternative continental breakfast tasted stale. Ended up with coffee and toast.

The hotel and room were clean, warm and comfortable and at 56 quid for the night for 2 people with an adequate breakfast, can't complain too much except that it was a disabled access room which was on the first floor and as far from the lift as it could be. Not an impossible ask for an ambulant disabled person and not in any way the staff's fault, they we're absolutely fine, but really should've been addressed in the planning stages Holiday Inn, take note!

Stayed here for one night on a business trip and pleasantly surprised considering the price. Nice size room, very clean, good WiFi connections so was able to work easily. Only let downs were the dinner in the restaurant and not being able to turn heating off in my room. Nothing special but certainly value for money, just eat else where.
