Denise & Steve welcome you to our family and dog friendly Bed and Breakfast in North Devon we are a licensed Guest House offering a great alternative to Hotels in Combe Martin as well as hotels in North Devon. The Acorns Guest house is situated in the heart of Combe Martin and offers 7 well-appointed bedrooms, some with sea views.
Having looked at many areas, we came across the North Devon Coast line and fell in love with the area. When we discovered Combe Martin, with its lovely beach and village, we knew that this was the place for us. A feature of the Guest house is our house cat, Tycho. He likes to welcome our guests at the bar, particularly if they are reading the newspaper, which he will sit on.
We have a lovely full licensed guest lounge and bar in our guest house. Well stocked with a good selection of beers, wines and spirits we can cater for every taste, including hot and soft drinks. The lounge is great place to wind down after a busy day at the beach or on a winters evening in front of the fire after a walk along the South West Coastal Path.
Combe Martin is set in some of North Devon's most beautiful scenery and is an ideal centre for walking. The beach has rock pools on either side and a sandy beach at low tide. Excellent facilities nearby, including shops, pubs, cafes, public conveniences and a large car park.
Damien Hirst's 66 ft bronze sculpture 'verity' has been erected at the seaside town of ilfracombe, UK. The statue depicts a naked pregnant woman with half of her body exposing ligaments and viscera while holding aloft a sword and standing on a base of legal books. Take a walk from Lynton along North Walk to the Valley of Rocks, home to Lynton's famous herd of wild goats and admire the dramatic rock formations in the valley.

Another wonderful stay with Steve and Rachel. This is a little gem. The welcome is always warm and friendly. Slept like a log and came down to a great breakfast.a lovely bowl of fresh fruit salad and yogurt followed by yummy scrambled egg and smoked salmon that set me up for the rest of the day. I shall definitely be booking again and hope you will be able to fit me in in. Thank you both

Don't stay anywhere else in Poole. This guest house is spotless and very welcoming with bus stops just a few metres away to go into town or further afield. Excellent value for money when compared with the well known 3 budget hotel chains.
