The New Alvon Hotel

The new Alvon Hotel's goal is to give visitors to Blackpool beach all the information they need to make their visit pleasurable. Blackpool has an abundance of pubs and restaurants, and Stag and Hen parties became so rowdy that business owners try to discourage locals from having it. But some, like The Manchester Pub and Shenanigans, are great venues for a wild night out.
About
Report
There are undying traditions in Blackpool that has made it a popular place to visit in London. Because of our love for Blackpool, we decided to highlight the spots that made Blackpool what it is today. At the Alvon Hotel, we celebrate Blackpool, its traditions, and its people. Blackpool often gets labelled as a party town, with raucous parties until the early morning hours. In spite of some negative publicity, the town is still a very popular tourist attraction. There is much to do for groups, adults, and children.

I stayed here a couple of weeks back for 2 nights with my 2 year old son. We were rudely woken up at about 9pm to a couple shouting and screaming at each other in the corridors and sounded like they may have been going at each other as well. It scared my son and he shouldn't of had to listen to that. Nobody came to tell them to calm it down or anything and I'm sure there will have been some staff on somewhere able to hear it as it was that loud. The language was disgusting and the same again the next night. I ended up having to sleep with the TV on in the end to drown it out.

For a "hotel" in Blackpool it needs some upgrades for the 21st century. More than 1 plug socket (taken up by the rooms kettle and tv) for people to charge their devices would be a start. Very much a "family run" b&b than anything, with 11pm curfew and a charge for replacement house keys if you lose them. The couple that run the place are polite and commendable though.

Hi it's me, the girl with the sister in a wheelchair I would like to say if youre ever in Blackpool come to this hotel. Its nicely placed so you have a good view of Blackpool Tower, close to all the attractions. The Cook (Thomas I think?) Made ux lovely breakfast every morning and the lady there who runs the hotel is so kind and sweet, she even brought a gift for my sister on her birthday. The rooms are great and comfortable. So yeah it's amazing, if we ever come to Blackpool again we'll surely stay here.

Hotel in Great location. Walking distance to main central area (within 4 to 5 minute walk) Room was OK for price and breakfast was good. Hotel manager was quite rude at times to guests as he seemed very stressed especially when anyone asked for something (like toast, milk.etc at breakfast time) He explained to me that his wife worked as a carer and due to short staff she was called in to work unexpectedly to work at the care home on a night shift so the poor guy had to sort out breakfast.etc on his own so got a bit stressed out at breakfast time. (I'm sure if he had explained this to other guests they would have been a little bit more understanding)The only other annoying thing was the fire alarm panel bleeping through the night which seemed to be an intermittent fault on the panel.
Best parking nearby is at 107 Hornby Road which was very cheap (7.50 for 24 hours) although on street parking outside the hotel was available but had a 1 hour restriction between 8am to 6pm.

Stayed here for 3 days this week everything good apart from some of the other guests. Came for breakfast one morning to see a guest shouting and swearing at the owner and who I assume was his mrs informing the owner she earns more money than him. Erm if you earn more money why are you staying in a little b&b. Like I said hotel was fine, room was clean, staff ok, but some guests seem to expect the ritz and 5 star service lol
