Langleigh House, dating back to the early days of Berrynarbor, was once the village post office. The property was re-modelled, extended and became a guesthouse in the 1930?s. Today Langleigh House, set in an acre of landscaped gardens with a southerly aspect overlooking the Sterridge Valley, offers a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere in which to unwind.

We were down in Devon for a wedding and we are so glad we chose to stay at Langleigh Guest House! Susie and David are such a lovely couple and have thought of everything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay. The breakfasts are made fresh with local produce (hands down the best strawberry jam we've ever had!). My partner is gluten free and they made sure he could have exactly the same menu, even down to the homemade biscuits and treats left in the rooms.
The beds were comfy and rooms spotlessly clean. The village is so relaxing to be in, we felt we could really chill out and enjoy our down time away from the wedding and we enjoyed waking up to the stunning views of the garden and the crow of the rooster! David and Susie were so helpful and were more than happy to recommend local restaurants and walks. We are already planning our next trip to come back, this time with our dog. If we could give 6 stars we would!

A great little bed and breakfast. Excellent hosts whom cater to your needs, great breakfasts (one of the best I've had). The only downsides are paper thin walls, dated decor and searingly hot taps which require temperature regulators. The place was very clean and well kept, excellent views, complementary biscuits made by the host. A well recommended bed and breakfast for singles, doubles and families.
