We had a spa package bought for us for Christmas as we had been before and loved it. However this time was different. We had booked a couple's (double) room for the massage but the room was full of 'stuff' so couldn't be used. The girl who massaged me was not the friendliest, in fact I don't remember her even smiling or chatting to me, she just did her massage speech.

The massage itself was ok but no where near as good as last time. Last time we had two amazing polish ladies, this time the ladies were not European and didn't have the same skills or passion for the job, something all nationalities should/could have. I only had one hand massaged and the feet were not massaged at all which is the best bit for me as I am on my feet 10 hrs a day.

The facilities themselves are very tired. The pool areas needs a deep clean and lots of tile repairs. The relaxing room was like the Arctic. not relaxing. Finally we needed to ask reception where to go for the afternoon tea part of the package, the man at the desk couldn't be less helpful or friendly.'down the stairs over there' he waved towards the corner of reception without looking up or showing any customer service skills.

The tea itself was very nice but I couldn't wait to leave as I was made to feel that someone like me shouldn't be there by the way the staff seemed to look down there noses at us. Overall, I won't go again unless there is a big upgrade in staff and facilities after all it is not a cheap afternoon out. I will tho spend more money and try a different spa at a different hotel, maybe that is where the amazing polish ladies are working now!?

Excellent staff. Marvellous first aiders. Enjoyable breakfast. Quite close to market but fair walk to centre. Very small pokey bathrooms with strange low vanity benches /basin. Rooms basic.

Located in St Helier, 10 mins from the airport. The hotel is a 5 star rating. The reception room was nice and warming, there was a lift to the rooms. We had room 312 - room only board. The view was of the road, but I am unsure what other views there was. Towards the back of the hotel is a terrace with bar snacks. Overall the room was nice, average space for the room type a double deluxe.

Tea making facilities/shower amenities were included. The room also had two free small bottles of water. The shower/bath was very good and easy to use. The hot water didn't not seem to work or come on at 6am when leaving early. The issues were you heard everything that other guests did, showering sounds, thudding from walking/shutting doors. The road noise.

The room service was good. Within a reasonable time, polite enough. Minibar was well stocked. The spa facilities were nice, a heated indoor pool, sauna and steam room. Upon checking our invoice midway through stay we had an unknown charge of drinks at 11.50, we also had a 1.10 difference on room service food, and the tray charge stated 3 in the room and the invoice was 4.05 - 13.65 difference. Queried at reception the disputed costs were removed with no hassle.

The price listed in the hotel room is different to that on invoice, so double check invoice given. We had booked a taxi the night before for 6.30am, as we waited 8 mins, we asked what time the taxi was coming, we was told the company had cancelled the booking at 3am and no one at the hotel had thought to rebook for us?

Stayed here for a couples get away and it was fab, reception staff very warm, pleasant and welcoming from when we arrived and all throughout our 4 night stay. We had drinks and food in the Bohemia bar and Tudor and Cristian were both very hospitable and attentive. The Hotel was a 5min walk from the main shopping streets and within walking distance of many pubs and food. We will be back

The staff here are so brilliant, they truly can't be faulted. The food is lovely. The location is great for the town centre. Drinks are pricey but to be expected from a venue such as this. Strangely attention to detail in our room was disappointing. One lampshade missing and not replaced. The lighting in the bathroom was so dark that my husband could not shave, the shower leaked all over the floor as the mirror door would not shut properly. Chipped crystal bowl / container on the table next to the bed served no purpose.

The cleaning of the bedroom was questionable, glass tops were covered in thick dust. The spa was unattended with no one to show guests around or even offer to sell the decleor products which were on display. Small things which make the difference between a four star and a five star establishment. Would we use this hotel again? Possibly.

Fabulous hotel. Great spa facilities including outside and inside pools. Great choices at breakfast and nice bar meals. If you want to eat in their renowned Michelin star restaurant you'll need to plan ahead as booked up several months in advance. Staff were helpful and friendly particularly Jack and the young girl in the bar (sorry I didn't get your name). Central location with easy access to shops and bus station - 10 min walk. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely stay. The staff were always pleasant and helpful. The food was excellent, I enjoyed my early swim in the indoor pool. Clean, tidy, comfortable with easy walking to both town and harbour.

Awful hotel. Avoid at all costs! Checked in and heard the manager speaking in French to a colleague about a "fat" guest. The staff shortages prevented any room service; no one on reception on most days and the Housekeeping was the worst I have ever experienced. The cleaner left our breakfast tray in the room all day along with the iron board and towels that were not changed at all.

The views are terrible: car parks with one view including a Public loo. When we asked to move rooms, the receptionist told us "we are a city centre hotel" but when I insisted on the move to another room we were told "this is the best view and it is another car park". Very noisy rooms due to the car parks as well. Trying to speak to the staff about our issues was like talking to a wall. Basically this is NOT a 5 star hotel. Premier Inn is better than this hotel and at least they do not mislead you.
