The Baytree is a small family run hotel offering comfortable accommodation, excellent home cooked food and personal attention, all in a relaxed atmosphere. We have 6 letting rooms all are en-suite. The Baytree is approximately 800 metres from the sea front and 400 metres from Torre Abbey Gardens and the Riviera Centre. The coach and train stations are nearby. Torquay town centre, shops, bars, restaurants, theatre etc are all within easy walking distance.

Chris and Karen were very welcoming. They catered for people with allergens and did a lovely gluten free breakfast. The railway station was only a short walk away and the bus stops were only a 5 min walk to get into Torquay centre. The Torre Abbey was only down the road and we found places to eat within a short walking distance. If you want to get away from the Centre and the usual hotels then the Baytree is ideal.

Chris and Karen were so welcoming and their property is very homely. The rooms were Fantastic with everything you need to be comfortable. Breakfast was by far the highlight of our stay. Quick and efficient service with a smile and the food was AMAZING! Karen is a culinary genius. Every morning was a delight and the best way to start the day. Highly recommend The Baytree for anyone and everyone!

Excellent hosts providing an excellent service for guests. The rooms are brilliantly clean with excellent facilities and a fridge. Large towels and very comfortable beds. The breakfast was brilliant very well presented hot and cooked how you requested it. Karen and Chris are very friendly welcoming and knowledgeable of the area. Highly recommended for sure.

Karen and Chris made us feel at home in this cosy, welcoming b&b. Clean and comfortable rooms in a quiet area of the town, they have a good knowledge of the area and of the local attractions. The breakfast menu has lots of choice and the food was delicious and there was plenty of it. Would definitely recommend The Baytree.

Recently stayed at The Bay Tree with my wife and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The owners are very accommodating with helpful ideas of what to see and do. Nothing was too much. Breakfast offers an extensive menu which was delightful. The rooms are highly maintained with a fridge for your use and use of wifi. It is set in a quiet location but has easy access to tourist attractions, restaurants and the sea front. I would highly recommend a stay here and look forward to a return visit.
