First I must say I wasn't a guest but more a 3rd wheel asked to join a couple. The night I spent in this hotel was deluxe. Beautiful building, well decorated, superb room, great welcome from the staff and very understanding I was extra for breakfast. It's clean, rustic, charming and mutch more so definitely A+++ Unfortunately the old design of the building doesn't allowed disabled access. Brilliant experience

Our one night stay here was brilliant. We were warmly welcomed by the duty manager, Faye, who gave us a glass of champagne whilst we checked in as we were staying for our anniversary. We were in the Legacia room which was outstanding and very luxurious, with lovely art deco decor and comfy super king size bed. The bathroom had a separate shower and a lovely roll top bath, along with two robes.
Location is great, about ten minutes walk from the town centre, a few minutes to the beach, and loads of nice pubs and restaurants within minutes of the hotel. Only thing that could have been improved for us was breakfast - you can pick three items off a continental breakfast menu (not a buffet and no cooked options). It was all perfectly fine, and the service was lovely, but compared to how luxurious the rest of our stay had been, it felt a bit of a contrast. All round though it was an excellent stay and I'd definitely recommend staying here!

We booked late for the cheapest double, last minute decision to have a night out in Brighton to celebrate our 20 years anniversary. When we arrived I was immediately impressed by the clean and stylish decor in the reception lounge. We were upgraded to a fab sparkly room ("Alice") for no extra cost. Lovely touches like dressing gowns and homemade shortbread in the room.
Bed super comfy, everything about it was luxurious (shame we weren't in it for long, got in at 4am!). Really nice breakfast. Amazing service for the whole stay. Thank you! Xx

My wife and I got married in Blanch House on 30th November 2021. We'd had to postpone a couple of times due to Covid, it was third time lucky. The owner is also the wedding planner, he could not have been more accommodating and helpful. His staff on the day were second to none, not only did they meet our every need - they met our every wish with effortless aplomb.
The canapes were plentiful and super delicious. The meal was incredibly good - it exceeded everyones expectations, my mum still talks about the excellent quality of the steak now almost two months later, the sticky toffee pudding is well and truly stuck in my mind, for all the right reasons. We stayed for two nights in the luxurious and ridiculously beautiful room Lagacia, we were very comfortable. We would have absolutely no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Blanch House as a Wedding Venue or as a hotel for a stay in Brighton.

From the moment we rang on the doorbell until the time we gave back the keys we had a lovely stay at the Blanch Hotel. We were met with a welcoming smile, lovely background music and a warm inviting ambience in the reception area. We were immediately advised about where to eat, so that we could book reservations due to it being Valentines weekend.
Our room was clean, lovely decorated and met our needs. Easy access to the beach, cinema and town. The continental breakfast was simple but served the purpose. The owner Kerry and the staff Danni and Faye gave an excellent service. All and all a wonderful weekend break. We will be back.

The rooms are beautifully themed. We stayed in the fabulous Maraccon room which had plenty of room for not tripping over each other and such a lovely warm vibe for its theme. Kerry the owner is absolutely wonderful and made us feel very welcome on our stay alongside the rest of the staff. Will definitely be staying here again!

First class customer service that really made our stay as special as it was. Sam, Fay and Sarah-Jane are such a huge credit to this establishment, and they are why I'm giving 5 stars! From helping us check in and get parking sorted to making delicious drinks from the bar, to checking us out and helping store our bags while we spent a few more hours making the most of Brighton.these ladies are so genuine, kind and professional.
We were staying the night as a birthday gift from family, who arranged for a box of our favourite fancy chocolates (Booja Booja) to be waiting in the room when we arrived, which was so so lovely! Our room was at the very top of the hotel, very clean and a good quality shower. We went out to find a cooked vegan breakfast, but I believe there were a few vegan items available like spread and non-dairy milk. It was a brilliant trip. Thank you ladies!

What a fabulous hotel. It was my first time staying overnight but I have known about Blanch House for many years, as used to be a Hove resident before moving to London in 2000. Back in the 90s I remember many celebrities used to rave about staying at Blanch House. I was also reminded by a friend that I had actually eaten there in the 90s when there was a restaurant.
I work as a Maitre'D in a well known 5 star hotel in Mayfair, and I felt the same qualities, standards and skills from your staff - Well done. We will be back for sure and will book directly with your hotel as your lovely receptionist really explained the top floor suite/room so eloquently, which I would love to experience next time if available. The Renaissance room was our room this time and was homely, comfortable and we slept so well. Thanks Again to all at Blanch House.

Fabulous place to stay. Was greeted by a very lovely member of staff and was totally looked after. The hotel's owner is super fabulous and he makes your stay so worthwhile. Continental breakfast was rather nice and surprisingly filling. Enjoyable stay and will definitely come back again. Thank you Blanch House.

Wow, what a bespoke hotel, and what a room in the Perrier Jouet room we had. Beautiful building, lovely, friendly and welcoming owner/host. Great customer service, had all the extras we asked for ready. Location is ideal, close to the busy Brighton seafront but far enough away to feel secluded. Def recommend for that romantic night away!

Hotel room was lovely, breakfast was nice but what stuck out to us most was how lovely the staff was here- especially the manager! I left my bracelet and had an issue with my payment not going through and he was so kind and called me up to speak about both issues. So so lovely! Would definitely recommend

Wedding: Thank you so much to the Blanch House team for making our wedding on the 10th of July so special. Kerry has been so supportive since we booked our original date in September and made the process of changing dates (3 times due to the pandemic) quick and stress free. The venue was dressed beautifully, the team executed flawlessly on the day and we are just so happy our big day ran so smoothly and were able to just fully relax and enjoy it. THANK YOU!

We loved it here. Brighton is one of our favourite places to go, so it's great to have a place to stay when you visit. We stayed in the "Alice"-room and it delivered! I felt as if I was in a fairytale, so beautifull. The personel here was so helpfull and friendly, they helped with whatever they could. Breakfast was amazing and they offer almost everything you could wish for when you're in England.
Great place to start your day out in Brighton and surroundings. Only 1 thing bothered me and that was the lack of parking space, but that is the same with all the places here in Brighton, so that's not the fault of the hotel. Just a notice as reference for future visitors;.

I've been here for a few times, but last Saturday, my best friend and I went for dinner. We went straight to our table as we were starving, and had almost all of the place to ourselves. It's not huge (maybe 12 tables?), but the bright, airy decoration makes it seem open and not at all crowded. We were told that the corner table we wanted wasn't available, but our waitress swiftly jumped in and said she'd re-arrange things so we could sit there.
Nice start. Looking at the menu, I didn't fancy any of the starters so we both dived straight into the mains. I had sirloin of sussex beef with garlic mushrooms, dauphinoise potatoes and a wine & rosemary sauce (and a side of green beans). It was delicious. I have to say my steak was maybe a little overcooked for me (I like medium rare), but it was so tasty that I didn't complain.
Rare for me when it comes to meat. My friend had fried breaded halloumi with sesame seeds, celeriac and truffle puree, baby spinach, garlic wild mushrooms and red pepper & lentil sauce. Goodness me! It was *delicious*, and the chef even made her up a side of dauphinoise potatoes because she loves them so much. Prior to that we devoured a decent-sized home-made roll as well. Plus, we had the house red, which was a weighty merlot totally under-priced for how nice it was at 19 a bottle. Finished off with an espresso each, and we shared the amaretto & amaretti biscuit parfait with griottine cherries plus almond tuille.
Best bit of the meal for me. It honestly makes my mouth water just thinking about how good it was. Somehow, we only ended up paying 32 a head for that. Incredible value, especially as it included 12.5% service! Michelle and I have spent more on basic takeaways than that, and this was divine! We finished our wine in the bar, which is small but perfectly formed with some super-knowledgeable barmen with smiles all round.
Two shots for 6 later, and a super recommendation for 'the second best bar in town' - and we were on our way. I have stayed here previously, and the experience was just the same. Each room is unique, and perfect for a romantic getaway for a special occasion - or if you've got some cash to spend! As Samantha C. says below, the rooms are pretty pricey. However, for such a dash of luxury with great food and staff thrown it, it's totally worth it.

Championed as the makers of the best Martini and the best bar team in the UK, I felt I had to see Blanch House's award-winning bar for myself. It is hard to feel disappointed. The bar itself is the perfect intimate size and design, all deep reds and black with a vantage point of the bar tenders from every seat. Their friendliness and mixing capabilities are hard to ignore too, making the experience all the more relaxing and entertaining.
Now on to the drinks. Well, I'm no Martini expert, but their straight up, made with plymouth gin (or wyborowa vodka, your choice), certainly got me going for the evening, it was delicious - and strong. My personal new favourite though is the Polish Spring Punch: Wyborowa, Chambord, Raspberry puree, fresh lime, Gomme and Champagne. Beautifully presented and although a little more expensive than even a London bar at 8.50, it's worth it just to be there.

This is an absolutely fabulous hotel for those of you with a reasonable disposable income, as rooms are between 100 and 230. Situated in the fashionable Brighton area of Kemptown, the hotel offers an AMAZING cocktail bar (and lessons!), spa treatments and an uber cool restaurant. The cocktails are really unusual but their all fan-flippin-tastic, Kermit's Lily is particularly fab.
The venue is unbelievably cool and stylish, each room has an individual theme and they have certainly made the best of every inch of space. They also have a mini fine dining restaurant that is reasonably priced at roughly 15 for a main. Its such an individual hotel and has so much to offer, its an amazing place for special birthday celebration drink or an mildly extravagant weekend away.
