The whole weekend was brilliant. Room was cosy but the staff, food and service were excellent. Had an accident within half an hour of arrival from a pot hole in the road, staff and guests made the whole weekend enjoyable as I was diagnosed with a fractured ankle on the Saturday. We have rebooked. This is a little gem not to be missed.

Traditional seaside hotel. Very comfortable beds and plenty of storage in our food. Good choice of food, served very quickly and food was hot and tasty. Waitresses were excellent. Evening entertainment good, but not my personal preference. Limited parking, but on-street parking available. No lift, so those who struggle with stairs or carrying luggage up stairs will struggle.

The Hotel Balmoral Torquay is great, the staff and food is top notch, excellent and faultless, cooked to perfection. The rooms are cosy but clean and comfortable. The grounds are nice too. Location was good, 5 mins from beach and a 15 min walk to town Things are never to much trouble. We will go back too.

Nick and I stayed at the Balmoral in December on a Turkey and Tinsel break. Our stay was lovely and could not fault. The breakfast, evening meal was perfect compliments to the chef excellent menu. Our accommodation was tidy a bit small but we love Torquay and decided to book a week in July only in a larger room. Thank you for making our stay wonderful.

Fantastic hotel, fantastic food and staff, couldn't fault anything. From the minute we arrived to when we left nothing was to much trouble. Advised by staff best ways to get around the area and what to see. Our room(5), had a garden and sea view. Gardens beautiful, rooms spotless. Can't wait to revisit.

Booked here for sunday lunch and it was fantastic, and outstanding value for money. A party of eight of us tried this for the first time and will certainly be back. Friendly waiting staff and superb quality food. We thought it was going to be a carvery style but it was a 3 course lunch with good choice on the menu for 15 quid each, free parking was a bonus. 4 for a pint.
