This Majestic hotel looks as good on the inside as it does on the outside, we were greeted by Daniella who was superb, we thought she was the owner as she was so good at welcoming us, she was warm informative and proud of her establishment. We met Giovanni the Bar Mgr who was also warm and welcoming and the bar and the terrace are stunning. We had a good night's sleep in our room which was clean spacious and the view made our heart's sing.
We met Darryl the Chef at breakfast in the dining room (decor straight out of a magazine) there were a vast array of food we plumped for cooked breakfast and it was absolutely delicious really fresh and all produce sourced locally. This hotel is a 10 and we would thoroughly recommend a visit we are definitely coming back

The hotel has recently refurbished and is lovely. Sea view room has nice view, watched the gannets diving for fish. The king prawn pappardelle in the restaurant was top notch. Very good glass of Merlot too. Perfectly placed for a stroll down the high street. The only improvement could be to the cooked breakfast, bit lower quality than I expected.

I was welcomed by a lovely bubbly receptionist who informed me there were vacancies at the Hilltop Hotel that very evening I was delighted as had just came from Sheffield. The new bar was beautifully decorated and had a great selection of beers. My room was spotless and shower just delightful after a long drive. My room rate included breakfast and served by the chef himself with wide variation on choice. I thoroughly recommend the Hilltop and felt the barmaid deserved special mention for her efficiency and professionalism. Thanks

Not told hotel basically a building site, restaurant and bar closed and so difficult to get a booking anywhere else, we were very lucky to get in to a restaurant for dinner. Social distance not existing we were sat next to a group of four even though whole room free of space. Room spotless but in all honesty if we were told no restaurant we would have cancelled
