Nice hotel was booked without thinking to ask if they had lift as one of us is currently on crutches but unfortunately they don't have a lift so they re arranged some booking and give us a family room for 4 on the 1st floor we were on the 4th to begin with but was all sorted within 5 minutes because of the lovely lass on the check in desk. Breakfast was brilliant buffet style help your self my only complaint about the whole trip was the fact it said parking on street and when we arrived there wasn't any parking anywhere near as we thought it would be easy for the one on crutches but it was a little distance away, no bother if you are able to walk but not good if you have difficulty walking or are in a wheel chair but over all nice experience with nice welcoming staff. Reasonable price drinks too and a good size bar would definitely stay again

Staff members Leanne, Sophie and Vicky were great, assisted my wife Marilyn and myself with any questions we asked. Great breakfast and the room we had was clean and tidy. The only downside we had was the music. It was quite loud and in particular the karaoke that was on in the evening. I gestured to the guy that was singing and who's karaoke it was, that it was very loud and all he did was shrugged his shoulders as if to say "Too bad". Oher than that, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone thinking of making a booking.

This venue is open later than other pubs and often has live music, it is a welcome alternative to going to a nightclub. Used to have a lovely period decor inside, is now like being inside Elsas ice palace. (The current picture used by google for this venue is of the church opposite the back of the pub)

Horrible place. Apparebtly ordered two drinks with two different bar man by mistake. Bar manager got aggressive instantly rather than trying to resolve the situation Shame as he is losing money for the Bar and the owner. No attempt whatsoever to resolve. We are 32 years old. Not some troublesome kids.

Good surroundings but beer, particularly 'Ghouly' was atrocious. Very vinegary and when I told the staff about it, just trying to be helpful, not even to seek a replacement, they didn't seem particularly interested. Pub was relatively busy so the lack of attention might have had something to do with that. Who knows.
