Ardachy is tucked away in rugged farmlands of a typical croft, some two miles south of the small village of Bunessan. The ferry terminal for the islands of Iona, Staffa (Fingal's Cave) and Treshnish, is only 7 miles distance.
The hotel has a southerly aspect over the deserted sands of Ardalanish Bay and beyond to the Hebridean islands of Jura, Colonsay and Islay. On a clear day, the coast of Ireland is visible.
There is a choice of eight comfortable bedrooms, single, double, twin or family sized, seven of which offer shower & toilet facilities en suite. All bedrooms are equipped with hairdryers, radios, tea making facilities and convector heaters.

Services
Ardalanish Bay is fresh, relaxing and ever changing. The experience of nature, the hills, sea and wonderful people is what we were after. Chris spent time at sea, working in shipping and shipping insurance around the UK and Asia. Jo worked with horses before working in the health service. We wish to settle in Mull with its friendly community.
Guests are free to use the lounge and dining room. We have limited Wi-Fi and a selection of books and games. We provide evening meals, available from Monday to Thursday, which can be booked in advance. We are also fully licensed with a large selection of local beers, spirits, wines and whisky. There is free parking for several cars.
There is plenty to see and do on this fascinating remote Scottish Isle, from mountain walking and biking to sea kayaking and rock climbing. Mull is home to spectacular wildlife, castles, beaches and remote moorland and mountains. We are a 5 minute walk to the beach, which is a designated site of scientific interest with its unique geology, iron age fort and standing stones.

Highly recommended, Beautiful Views. Cozy Hotel with tastefully decorated rooms. Delicious breakfast and evening meals, just like Mum used to make! Very friendly hosts. Lots to see and do on the island. Visited the Isle of Lunga, just as the Puffins arrived, amazing to see. Will definately be coming back! Thankyou for a wonderful stay.

We have just been back to the Ardachy House Hotel after an absence of two years. Last time we went, under different management, we were very disappointed but this time it has changed hands again and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is superb, the whole place is spotlessly clean and Chris and Jo are very genial and friendly hosts. The food is good home cooking and the alcohol is very reasonably priced! We have been staying here for many years and it is good to see it back in safe hands. We'll be back!

Couldn't recommend enough, absolute hidden gem! 2nd visit to Ardachy and fantastic both times. Jo and Chris are brilliant and very accommodating hosts. As well as a brilliant breakfast Jo also provides brilliant dinners given notice, the meals we've had have been brilliant and easily amongst some of the best food we've been served on Mull and I've been visiting for 15+ years.
The house is in a brilliant quiet location just a few minutes walk from the beach. We visit mull for wildlife and the b&b is in a great location to use as a base for wildlife exploration.

The house and room are very cozy and comfortable. The location is perfect for a "get away from it all" holiday. The beach is accessible by foot in minutes, and there are plenty of beautiful and interesting areas of interest to explore within short driving distance. We had a lovely time, and very much enjoyed chatting with the hosts. They had many stories to tell and very welcome advice on what to do in the area.
They prepared delicious dinners for us for, and were very attentive to our well-being. We will not consider going anywhere else if we go back to Mull. Thank you, and all the best!

A wonderful clean and friendly hotel with modest evening meal and bar prices in a superb location of unsappased beauty. The owners are friendly, professional and have a real passion for what they do. They really make you feel at home and have a very good knowlege of Mull. The landlady Jo, is an excellebt cook. The choice of beers and wines is good and modestly priced. I'm looking forward to returning to this wonderful haven.

We enjoyed our 3 nights. Tony and team are very welcoming. The rooms were comfortable and there is a lovely sitting area for guests. Breakfast and dinner were excellent and packed lunches are available on request. They catered very well for vegetarian and other special dietary requirements. We liked the location of the hotel as it is a good base for exploring the Ross of Mull and Iona. There is a beach a short walk from the hotel which made for a lovely evening walking on the beach listening to the waves.
