Cormiston Farm is a family run, four star, bed and breakfast surrounded by the rolling hills of the Clyde Valley. It lies within 2 acres of mature garden and woodland, some 2 miles from the town of Biggar and is listed by Historic Scotland.
There are two large double bedrooms, overlooking the hills to the south. The largest bedroom has a super king size four-poster; both have private bathrooms.
A sitting room is available where you can relax in front of a log fire on chilly days.
A full Scottish breakfast is included in the price: fresh seasonal fruit, porridge, free range eggs, bacon, sausage and a variety of black/white puddings; home-made marmalade, jams and preserves, and the finest teas and coffee.
Dinner, if required, is usually at 8pm, and is a seasonal four-course set meal. Much of the produce is from the walled kitchen garden or from local markets. The emphasis is on local ingredients cooked in a simple way. We have a small but select wine list, as well as excellent beers from the local Broughton Brewery.
Children of all ages are always welcome, and stay free if under 16.
All major credit and debit Cards accepted.

It would be difficult to better the past two days we have spent at Cormiston. Richard is not only the most charming host, but he produces food of restaurant quality. Cormiston Farm is a truly delightful place to stay. The setting is idyllic, it is peaceful and the views spectacular. The actual accommodation feels homely, the bedrooms are spacious and obvious thought has been given to providing comfort for guests. Having now found it, in a location we might previously have driven past going elsewhere, it will be somewhere to make for on future breaks and we will definitely be recommending it to friends.

Large and very friendly B&B with the ability to still feel cosy. The owners also hold weddings and events and they are fully self sustainable with biomass boilers and a wind turbine being built. Really lookong forward to the barns being completed after refurbishment for the weddings. They also have alpacas, geese, sheep and horses
