Ocean Hotel

We had a four night stay in the Ocean Hotel. We paid out a little extra for a sea view which I must say was wonderful. Downside was we were at the very top of the building with a small opening window. It was a very hot week ( not complaining ) but needed to have the window open and the noise from the road was unbearable. The hotel can not be blamed for this. We went out and bought a fan which helped. The room was clean and looked new. Food was good. Just one gripe, if sitting outside the bins from next door were smelly (shame ).

Nice friendly hotel staff pleasant and polite, breakfast was lovely and the dogs were made feel welcome thank you very much

Booked a stay at this htel from Frid 10th June till Monday 13th. From time from time of arrival to departure everything was fabulous. Staff where wonderful, hotel very clean, entertainment was enjoyable, it was my first visit and hopefully not my last.

Just had 5 days stay, like all buildings of that era they need a lot of upkeep but can honestly say that everywhere was clean and the staff were very helpful, food was excellent and a selection for everyone. Everyone in our group enjoyed their stay.

Rooms clean and tidy beds very comfortable nice clean sheets but it time for the artex wall and ceiling to go Food very very good service wonderful.

Organised a coach party of 31 people and had an amazing time. Hotel was welcoming, spotless, food was excellent and the entertainment was 1st class. The staff were very professional and made our holiday complete. Thank you so much!

Lovely hotel, excellent friendly staff food is served always hot and quick. Entertainment is good.

Went for bank holiday weekend with friends. I am very fussy with my food. but must say food was great free bar entertainment every night saff amazing. rooms very clean. comfortable bed had great time rebooked as I left thank new ocean hotel.

Great food, very good location, top entertainment, spotlessly clean in all areas and a free bar all for a great price But the real star of the new ocean hotel are the staff.thanks for a great stay we will return.

Stayed here last weekend breakfast & 3 course evening meal included. Food was delicious, nice clean hotel Recieved a warm welcome when we arrived & i found the staff friendly & helpful. Thank you Ocean Hotel for a fabulous stay.

Hot water came out of the cold water tap. Not able to shower on first day no hot water coming out of the shower or hot water tap. Everytime we went to use the toilet we would find waste items floating in our toilet. When other rooms were flushing it appears it was coming back up in our toilet

Just been on a Tinsel and Turkey weekend break. Good clean standard throughout. Friendly efficient service. It was a package to include bed breakfast and 3 course evening meal and free drinks between 6pm-10pm as well as entertainment. Excellent value for money. Very highly recommend.

Great hotel, and with great food, nothing to much trouble for any of the staff

This hotel is disgusting. Dirty rooms, rude staff, this one woman called Clare really couldn't be less helpful. Arguing over everyting, taking as long as possible to help us with the simplest of requests, would recommend avoiding. On a scale of one to five, with five being as bad as possible, I'd give it 4 and a half.

Absolutely lovely hotel. All staff are very friendly and helpful. Nighttime entertainment was an added bonus. Will definitely come back.

Food very good. Came on bus tour. Our room at the very top of hotel looked over the bay great view, but the room was dated, but clean.the lift was quirky like the series are you been served.

First class food and service waitress service excellent rooms were good bedroom and shower were as good as you would expect have already booked for next year with our coach company

Just had a beautiful stay at the New ocean hotel, room was excellent, clean and a sea veiw, we had room 102 highly recommend, my mum cant do stairs so this room was ideal, food was great and staff amazing, will deffinutley be back, great location, close to everything

Food room and staff were brilliant from when we arrived can't thank Claire and Kay enough for all there help we hopefully will soon be back our holiday was brilliant thanks again

We had a Friday to Monday. Breakfast and evening meals. Free bar 6pm till 10 pm. Entertainment bingo and singer every night. Staff was excellent. food was a good selection. Even our 12 and 8 year old enjoyed themselves.
